only dug once all season and that was to a sickly vixen,was boltong them to a shot gun was thinking a bigger terrier would move them better.14/15 plus i said and that is bigger than my terriers and i would guess they would be 10kg wich is heavyer than most foxes i come across

Does anyone keep large terriers say 14/15 inch plus.would like to see some pics.The reason i ask is that i have some permission on an old aerodrome/airbase that is full of drains.My terriers the biggest being 12 inch and 7 kg get the job done but i think something a bit bigger would handle it easyer. also what do u guys use in drains(20 inch and more diameter on pipes).cheers aaron

mines 10 month old now and still sits on me feet, if its in the evening and shes tired if i go and make a cup of tea or stand somewhere for more than say 30 secs shes on me feet again.I thought maybee thats why people say 'i will allways have a terrier at my feet'

i posted on here last year that i was sitting in the garden having a smoke at about 10 oclock and noticed a black and white moggy walk past the drive followed by something red.next thing there was a crashing about in the wood opposite and when they came out it was reynard chasing the moggy,the cat made it to a tree in the garden next door but the fox was meaning buisness and going to kill the cat.people on here didnt believe me(surprise surprise).i know that wild foxes wouldnt usually hunt cats cause there is plenty of other prey about. i think foxy came from an animal sanctuary do

I got a camera today,ended up buying a olympus so-800uz for £130 from a mate.will go out tomorrow to see what i can find.

I am interested in following hounds next season and was wondering what was the closest pack to me and how to go about it.I have seen some in little francham but as i said before not sure how to go about it.Any help would be appreciated,cheers

squirrels it is then,she is a fell terrier,i have no doubt she will tackle them just wanted to get her a rat first cause i dare say a squirrel bite is worse than a rat.hoped she could get her technique down first.Dont want her on rabbits am hoping she will make it on fox(fingers crossed) cheers

Have got permission for squirrels,would they be too much for a 10 month terrier to start on.

i used to take the air rifle to the pheasant feeders others years and could spend hours shooting the little sods but there just isnt any,the game keeper said there just isnt any.there is a new fella living on the estate who has previously dealt with rats for a living maybe he is doing too good a job.

Is anyone having a shortage of rats,have been trying to find some for me terrier to bring her on.Every other year there has been plenty but not now i need some(sods law).

Does anybody use a pure greyhound as a lurcher,was wondering how well they were on recall and other skills that most lurchers are trained to as the norm?

i went back with her and me other dog and me sisters horse whip.The problem with them is they live at the only house there but they can run free and the male collie starts then the two bitches join in,any way i trimmed him up a little not to bad cause i blame the owners really not the dog and me cattle dog was loose . when they had had enough i calmed me pup down and walked her toward them and they went home. so will see how they are tomorrow

Just been out to give me pat pup a run about down the local lane and some muppets 3 collies set about her.they havnt hurt her much but she was coming on really well with other dogs just hope this dont set her back any.Wish i had other dog with me cause he would have got over to help her quicker.b*****d dogs
