    yeah i was thinking that norseman cheers i wasnt planning on breeding my thoughts were if i or when i get a gill to keep him company how would i stop them breeding it would be too much of a handful for me as im just starting to learn, how much would it cost to get my hob done ? then i wouldnt have a problem ill give net making a go and ill keep it posted do colours matter ? and would it be best to gett a gill whilst my hobis still young ? ceers and thanks for all comments

    i dont think id get the hang of making nets nets but never know though might give it a go i got a few from properferrets and i got a ferret box from there not bad but i may aswel start buying 10 oz whats the difference between the materials ? do i have to breed my hob ? or is that just gills what need to get bred thanks for all comments its really helping cheers

    thanks for the advise pal but i aint infor big numbers im trying to learn id be happy with one or two to start with when the season starts back up i was going to observe the warrens through the summer my nets are 6oz 3 1/2 ft nylon i been told to get 10 oz

    You need too ferret in the winter, and have a freezer, not every one does this, but this is my method, i skin the rabbits and carve a pound of meat off them, this is for the dog the remainder is bagged and goes to the ferrets. Anything you want to know about feeding, hutches etc, do a search on here and tons of info will come up.     where do i get rabbit from to feed him through the summer if kits are only fed rabbit or shall i jutst keep feeding him what i am till september then start with rabbit and also get chicks into his diet

    i feed him on kibble raw liver and pinky mice and if i run out i just get tin of cat food how would you feedhim pet shop fella said some kibble in morning a liver as a treat and a pinky twice a week but when i giv him his food he looks like hes starving i got him in january hes only about 8 months i think hes small for wht ive read and seen for adult hobs and thanks for your advise ....... nick3439 can you keep me updated on how that goes cheers

    theres horses on one of the fields but i stay away from there its like a woodland path im gong to post some pics when ive converted me cage theres a little bek thats where the warrens are theres top 6 holes in one and in another part theres only 2 holes can this happen ?and its covered in thorn trees but nowt on them so i crawl through to them i dont want to go and ask the farmer as i dont know what im doing yet and dont want to say i do to him/her and mess there land up ive got a terrier type dog i think shes a jack cross ill post a picture soon shes 3 will she learn still she chases them bu

    thanks for your comments and advise ive made a couple myself but they look a little too big for rabbit does it matter can i adjust it to the size i want ?

    i can make anysize cage i want i just aint allowed A big one in my garden iv stared to convert it into a 3 tier ive been gooleing snares and mine are just a little too big but does that matter cos i can just adjust the noose the size i want it i have been reading and trying to learn i thik i just need to decent the snares chees

    ive already started to change it to a 3 tier am doing it at minute ill post pictures tomorrow i had a big rabbit run i made a dog kennel but my german shepherd just ruined it so converted it into a big rabbit run i had to take it down my landlady wont let me have it in the garden

    thanks for you comment pal i aren't going to give up i enjoy been out early and coming home at tea but then i also like been out as its just getting dark i have been waching the rabbits and when i follow i loose them in the brambles im going to pit some pictures on soon of where i go is snaring best for summer then ? just dont kill them all just one or two for the ferret and me

    i made it myself it was for someone who asked me to make them a rabbit cage and when id done it they didnt want it its about 4 foot long 2 1/2 foot wide its flat ive put like a shelf in with a ramp but ive been thinkng of turning it on its side and sectioning it off with pipes and ramps connecting to each floor and making the front open up like a door ill try post a picture of it now and when ive changed it thanks for the advise

    ive been reading alot about snaring and ferreting ill try post a picture of where i go with the snares and where i try to ferret and longnets i only thought of them as my dog chases the rabbits and they always get away on the edge the field into the branches thanks for yor comment

    excellent picture pal my tubes are alot bigger one is about the size of a drain pipe and the other is just a bit bigger than a hoover pipe and my hob is bigger ill try post a picture soon i dont know how to do it on psvita yet
