    Yeah mines a keen bunny chaser. We tend to only go out during the winter months. Last week was the first time this season, fairly hopeless both dogs we took were over keen and overshooting the rabbits. They'll be better next time out... Will

    Hi folks, just came across this old thread, I can clarify it if anyone still cares The 'Exmoor Lurcher' are a type as suggested. Bred on Exmoor originally by Tom Farthing (a man who's life it would take a lifetime to tell you about), now bred by his daugther Jane Farthing. Jane also produces and sell the collars found on ExmoorLurcher.co.uk. The dogs are generally a cross between Deerhound for size, Greyhound/Whippet for speed and Bedlington Terrier for robustness.     Brian Andrews Bedlington terrier dog 'Brough' went missing yesterday on his morning walk and someone locally has said they thought they saw him being bundled into a self drive hire van in Lynmouth. We are hoping someone is going to hand him into the Police but as of this morning it hasn't happened. Obviously the family are very upset so PLEASE if you have the slightest feeling you may know where 'Brough' is call the Devon Police or post something on here.     Some nice comments about Mick folks, he'd be well proud I'm sure. He was a good mate and drinking buddy. He is certainly missed here. I first met Mick when he moved to Exmoor, he used to do sketches for pints in our local, I've got some crackers in pencil and watercolour he did for me of my old collie over a few lunchtime beers. He even did an oil painting of my Land rover a few Christmass' ago. Nice things to remember him by. If anyone is interested in Micks work they really should take a trip down here and see the work he has left on the pub walls. Will

    Thanks folks, don't be deceived by the terrier photo, she doesn't usual look that good. She usually has one ear stuck up and its not always the same one. I've spent hours sat watching telly with her on my lap trying to crease her ears No luck, she still looks daft half the time. The weathers looking a bit better today, I can't go out three nights on the trot though, er-indoors is complaining about me waking her up and talking about lamping when I get home. Apparently she would rather sleep than hear about ones that got away. Will

    Thought I'd better say hello at last Just got in from a hopeless evenings lamping, me with our 2 year old Deerhound Lurcher and a mate and his whippet. Some excellent runs but for the first time we came home empty handed. Chalk one up to the bunnies. I haven't been lamping long, I've been reluctant to let the deerhound lurcher run too much until he had stopped growing. He is doing well so far, he managed to catch his first rabbit second time out and he is happy to hand them over after a short victory lap of the field Heres a couple of pictures of him, he is a big hefty fella but pre
