    But I would have thought that the rabbit had a advantage with running the big balls of grass and the average course is only 30 or 40 meters before there back safely in bed

    What do people about the ground that the dog runs on And the speed thay move at I know that the type of dog for the ground you work them over has a factor in it but if you run them on a foot ball pitch they can shift on this land they don't do as much Some off them are nearly as tall as him thay foot ball size to beach ball size these would obviously slow the dog but how much and would any body's dog catch rabbits on this ground depending on the length of the course Cheers matt

    We're abouts can I get them locator systems and cheers lads he's only 17 week nowdo a few searches on here fella. or google terrier locators. also you will find suppliers in the sporting press. there are a few different types so look into them first. cs What would be the best type to get ie good range light weight

    Ever since I was little I was always told the dog/dogs should see you as part of there pack and as long as you shoew them that you are the boss they won't do nothing to hurt you or the kids infact they will be very pretective of the kids but them again I whould ever leave my kid with the dogs and any body that does leave kids with dogs on there own is stupid

    Every body won't 100%from there dogs but every body's is different I don't expect. To get a rabbit every time I go out but some time we have a good bag other times can go weeks with out even a run it don't bother me as long as the dogs a fit and well and they have had fun that won't counts because unlike us they just carnt go for a walk when they choose its up to us so the time they have out they should enjoy and not live in fear of missing a rabbit because they will get a beating ir been got rid of if they enjoy it they will work more and better than ant other dog going I think and if a rabbi

    It ant about the kill its about the chase as long as the dog has a good run that's good enough for me there's no point in bragging because one day you might bump in to some one that you know and you your self will prove your self wrong and end up with egg on your face

    She will go through long grass bushes and anything other than things with spikes on them she will hunt and will deliver back so hand and when it comes to game in spiky cover she will just go in to point mode and not move till I flush it and then she will go and retrieve it to hand

    She works she will pick up deliver to hand hunt for runners or lost game but not in brambles or thick cover
