Has anyone had a go with FUD decoys if so are they any good

I went beating on friday with my Cocker George when we got home he had a rub down then had his food and went to sleep next morning we went for a walk he was limping on his front right i had a look and he's split his pad between the toe's it's deep and about 1/2" long it's not bleeding,i went to the pet shop and got a dog boot to use when he go'es for his night and morning walks with the boot on he runs about as well as ever how long will it take to heal and has anybody any tips to help it heal up he keep it clean thanks for your time Popgun

I've allways used English side by sides on the marsh so i have never used steel shot i've just got a Winchester SX3 3" 3 shot semi auto what 3" steel cartridges would you recamend i use in it for flighting on the foreshore. cheers for your time.

Go for a .270 very flat and fast i've got a 243 and had a 308 sold the 308 and got a 270 best move i've ever made it;s deadly, use it for every thing fox roe sika and red deadly :thumbs-up: bit of kit.

Your going to need help with that you could do with some long nets and half a dozen ferrets, good dogs and 2 or 3 men the more nets the better, or you could stink it out a few days before then the rabbits will move into the small warrens and the above ground cover. if your going to use ferrets make sure you start early to give yourself plenty of time best of luck let us know how it go'es.

I was was shooting Rabbits with aYoung cocker pup in gorse bushes on a bit of boggy ground when i found a dead man in the bog he'd been dead 4 weeks not nice,he was an old boy who just went missing.

I ferreted a sandy bank on the shores of Poole Harbour and Bolted and Netted a shellduck i let it go unharmed.

Thanks to you guys i am gened up on chicken pens,i am now building a hen house when i'ts ready i was going to lime wash the inside to stop Mites and bugs a guy down the pub says the lime wash will kill the chicken is he right or not

We had a robins nest in the ivy on the wall at the top of our garden with about 6 chicks in it one morning i saw a Magpie fly away from it had a look and it was empty i got the magpie with my air rifle with in a day or 2 i go out of my way to kill them now

I have a 5ft wall at the top of my garden if i clip a wing of each chicken will it stop them from flying over it, black rocks

Try to get some spun nylon it is good for not tangling and the knots will not slip it comes in differant thickness it's nearley as good as hemp

I'm thinking of keeping 5 or 6 chickens in the back garden how much room will they need for the pen and how big will the coop need to be, is it better to have a fixed pen or one that can be moved from time to time, if it's best to have a moving pen do i plant grass to sit it on or is ther something better to plant for them to eat. is there a good web-site with plans for small chicken coops Thanks for your time Popgun

I shot a Fox in the early evening from a deer tower i left it where it fell about an hour later in the half light a Badger started to drag it about.

Could be a Thyroid gland ferrets get cancer of the thyroid it's not that uncommon hope it's not, good luck

I took my 8 month old cocker for a walk round my shoot he picked up a Hare it was thin and had a lot of gunk in it's eyes the keeper said he's had a few like that lately he's been told it's a type of cat flu. anybody seen it or know anything about it.

I bolted a Shellduck from a sandy bank on the edge of Poole Harbour a few years ago he flew off none the worse when i untangled him from the net, bolted a few Stoates over the years but thats all.
