  1. Semi auto rimfires are legal but I'd sooner have a bolt action, teaches you a bit more discipline to make sure you hit first time! CZ are a decent make and fairly inexpensive!
  2. Well thanks for the help all, very much appreciated think I'll look into cz's a bit more now and keep my eye open for one, seems they're that good very few people want to get rid of them! Once again cheers for all your help lads!
  3. Hi all looking to upgrade from a .22lr which I've shot for a couple of years now to a .22 hornet, for longer range vermin and he occasional fox when lamping, plan to keep the .22lr but was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent .22 hornet under £750? Cheers for any help!
  4. Thanks AR, very helpful and good to go now! Cheers again!
  5. Hi everyone, Applying for my own fac and shotgun certificate soon, all ready to send off but just had a couple of questions, can I share a cabinet to store guns which will hopefully get transferred to my license? and also I know I can't buy guns until 18, so if I wanted a .22 hornet which my dad doesn't have on his ticket, does he need to get a variation? Cheers for any help
  6. I leave them be, they do a good job keeping rats and rabbits down and I like watching them, but they're pretty easy to call in, just squeak and they come running
  7. Not too bad, plenty of rats to keep me entertained but lacks of rabbits. Anyone else had few rabbits this year?
  8. Oat straw is a good one if you can get it, otherwise shredded newspaper.
  9. Hello everyone, I'm in my final year of GCSE's at school and I've always been interested in gunsmithing, I don't know if anyone can help but just wondering what sort of qualifications I would need and how to get into gunsmithing or engraving as a career? Any help would be appreciated and thanks!
