👏🏼Lovely to hear your tales bonny lads...👏

I've shied away from ever chatting too freely, about certain events that have occurred over the last 60+ years...but I reckon an interesting treatise could be penned about those early,... days and nights....😉

I am not familiar with the actual legalities (or perhaps the wisdom)  of 'opening up'  regarding past deeds of naughtiness,.. but its surely got to be beneficial, getting certain things off one's chest....

Perhaps now the time is right.....🤔

Open up Phil ,clear your conscience and give the families a sense of closure .

  2. I think social media has cheapened experiences such as the northern lights ,eclipses even thunderstorms ..every Tom ,dick and Harry want to post and wax lyrical about how "deep ,profound and spiritual" it all is and every bill Bob and George wants to seem cool by taking the ppiss, what happened to keeping special memories for yourself ,knowing that however articulate or verbose you are ,you will never get any one to understand how you felt ...keep special memories private I say .

Its funny with Moyse im not too fussed either way whether he stays or go's to be honest i think he's done a brilliant job getting all these " new fans " what they wanted 😉......but now having tasted a bit of European football, nicking a trophy and experiencing the things with your pals you dont think you'll ever experience as a West Ham fan i just feel a bit nonplussed about Moyse now.....as a club we gave up on everything we valued so to now make demands is a bit rich.

On the way home from the game last night i was listening to Talksport and they had at least 3 Everton fans phone in talking about the nights games and all of them said they'd have Moyse back in a heart beat....which when you think of where they've gone since he left them is probably understandable, they was actually taking the piss out of West Ham fans for wanting him gone, with a " who the f**k do they think they are " attitude, which i think is a shame as i always booked us quite similar good traditional old fashioned clubs.....going to tournaments with England over the years i always saw how other fans tended to like West Hams following we was seen as chirpy cockneys always good humoured but realistic about who and what our club is,now since moving grounds i think we're just seen as whingeing pricks who think we're something we're not.

Most chaps of my generation that have been following the club around over years feel the same its just not our club anymore.....Moyse gave us our little experience which we'll always be grateful for but beyond that i/we will just go with the flow now,we'll live and breathe the club and support them as always but hopes and aspirations are different now, again its not our club anymore so do with it what you will.....apologies for a late night ramble just bored out my mind and cant sleep !

It must of been a case of 'distance lends enchantment ' with the evertonians ,I don't know one efc supporter who was sad to see him go ,he is a shoulder shrug of a manager ,much like Hodgson or Fat Sam ,he will organise a team ,make them hard to beat ,keep them safe ,,BUT sacrifices ambition or  risk ,and there is never attractive football without them ,in the end his negativity wears you down ,some managers make you dream ,he just puts you to sleep .

Tyson Fury is a clown.... It wasn't so long ago that he was telling anyone who would listen that he would fight this one and that one for nothing which he didn't and now he won't fight outside of Saudi where the big bucks lie ....

That still doesn't change the fact that there are 49million kangaroos in Australia and 3.5million people in Uruguay which means if the kangaroos were to invade Uruguay, each person will have to fight 14 kangaroos.

What percentage of kangaroos are of a fighting age though ,would the invasion be by air or sea ?either way the logistics of getting millions of kangaroos from Australia to Uruguay on the same day would be mind boggling also how proficient can kangaroos be with modern firearms bearing in mind their lack of opposable thumbs ...I don't think such a scenario is possible ,,,but then again Fury has made a living from boxing so anything is possible

I am watching the EFL cup final and bind it bizzarre that Jamie Carragher is doing the live commentary on a Liverpool game. I am not bothered about unbias, not as though he refereeing, I find all this over analysis of a game as it is being played sucks the energy out of it anyway and usually try and find a foreign channel stream with only 1 commentator. What puzzles me is why Carragher would want to do it? No doubt he is being handsomely paid but I am sure he would manage to pay this month's energy bills without working today. Why would he not prefer to enjoy the match away from a camera or a mic and properly support the club he loves?

I just wish he would shut up ,he's an annoying tit ...

Mum done me a goat curry last week, was bloody lovely, her best friend when we lived in Bristol was Jamaican and we ate a lot of Caribbean food, she still cooks some of the recipes, goat curry is one of my favourites though.

    Curried goat ...your welcome .

If you're on about who i think then the " lad " is 61 😆....just won the amateur Grand Seniors out in Malaysia i believe it was.....good luck to him he's been around a long time, the amateur game is very much different to the pros as it go's on age/weight categories, different rules and formats etc but respectable achievement nonetheless.......most of our generation first got into arm wrestling after the Stallone film Over the Top came out,if i remember right Dan actually competed in the qualifying rounds of that competition which shows how long he's been at it.

That's the lad , as I said talented violinist ,and I often wondered if that had much to do with his success .
