Looking to but some rabbit snares dont know anything about the but how much should i be looking to pay and where from?

Im not 100% that rabbits stay there but there everywhere night loads of them my ferrets working propaly they just must be somewhere i dont know about lol

Went ferreting today down my local golfcourse done every burrow every hole i could find but not even a bolt, u would swear there is not a single rabbit there! But took my lamp down there a few days ago and they were everywhere you'd swear it was a different place? Is there something im missing?!?

I seen the other day some guys were talking about ferreting lessons and how they teach some beginners. Sadly they were to far away i was wondering if there was anyone in the south wales area who would maybe let me tag along so i can pick up the basics?

cheers mate il give it ago:)I just got loads of permission by calling round on farms and just introducing myself and stating I do a bit of ferreting and I'm after a bit more permission? I got a yes straight away, plus they put me onto new farmers, i think it does help when I go in my works gas van?
I think first impressions do make a difference so dress accordingly, like no cammo, or track suits, just plains clothes
Also try calling in with the family in the car to show you're a family man?

for the first time tomorrow im gunna ask a farmer if i can do a spot of ferreting on his land but ive never even seen the farmer never mind talk to him lol how should i approach this?

thanks for the advice mate, does it effect them physicaly or mentaly?To early mate could do more harm than good in the long run

i have a 5 month old male whippet and i was wondering if i need to wait abit longer before working him? i was planning on taking him out ferreting in about a months then eventualy get him on the lamp. but at the moment he stills seems like he needs to mature abit. any advice is appreciated

i am 16 from south wales vey new to hunting started ferreting about 2 months ago and now im just hooked lol. ive got a nice lil whippet and soon il be getting a air rifle and a lamp. really excited to be joining this forum!
