My whippet is only just gone 4 months and when i take him for a walk hes off the lead more thann hes on, make sure your dog knows hes down wrong when he dosent return, tap on the nose for example and when he does return make sure u really praise him up!

Recently i havnt been having no luck with the ferrets, but today came across a average size warren (very well hidden) bcuz of the size i only decided to put one ferret down and 15 minutes had gone by, this is very much unlike my hob normaly he's lighting quick but sure enough i thought i had a dig on my hands, then just as i grabbed the spade one bolted straight into my net qitw the ferret very close behind. I fpund this very strange as the warren wasnt very big, normaly i put him in one hole and he's out of another in seconds(i always make sure he had coverd the whole warren) is it possible that he has just been ruuning past the rabbits?

How often does everyone take there dogs out to keep them fit?
-
how often do u find rabbits in trees and other places kind of rhe same?Just as Darbo said useful for tree trunks, and larger burys.
Always worth having four in your bag.
This is a Netrigger net.

ive got 15 purse nets but im still coming across burrows with more holes, it would be greatly appreciated to have some but atleast let me pay for post. Its queer that, but true, the bury you dont net, you will get a bolt.
have to agree with Bob, if you start blocking holes, theres a good chance you will have a dig on hand.
I dont know how you are financially, but surely you could afford a dozen nets.
I have four nylon purse nets with pegs, not as good as the spun poly, so I dont use them, I had more but gave them to a young Lad.
If you send me your name and address I will post them down to you, and i will also pay the post.

When netting up the holes if u havent got enough nets what holes are best to net up? The small bolt holes or the bigger entrance holes?

i had the same problem with a jill at the beging of the season bite me everytime i when near her even just putting food in her cage would grab hold of my hand. waited about a week without any contact to let her settle down burr still kept bitin. it was my 1st ferret so i thought i had done something wrong. finally got rid of her and got a hob. never bite once till his day brilliant ferret. i guess hobs are just more chilled out but thats my experience everyones different.
