getting a patt in the near future, and was just wandering what the best line or lines were? is it nuttall, middletons, goulds???? and have you any pictures of the line you consider the best so i can have a butchers? i know you cant judge a dog by its looks, but nevertheless i would still like to see them as i am interested in observing the differences that occur in the diferrrent bloodlines. thanks lads manc

When guys on this site talk about lakelands do they mean the same type seen in shows like crufts? or are they of a different type? if so can you still use the KC type for work or are they no good nemore? if you could show me some pics if you own lakelands you work i would much appreciate it. thanks lads manc.

is there anywhere you can hunt boar in this country? and if so where? id love to try my dog on a boar, i reckon he'd fair pretty well, he aint the biggest of beasts but like the saying goes it aint the dog in the fight its the fight in the dog, and my neighbours red nose pit bull fairy with an attitude found that lesson out the hard way!

just wandered weather [bANNED TEXT] did anymore and if so what for? i read that alot of patt and lakie blood was influenced by old irish blood, which is probably y alot of the typey wire patts and lakies remind me of the old irish terrier. just wandered weather they managed to retain any of there old fire?

im gonna get myself a new terrier and im not quite sure what to get as their are quite a few types i like the look of and am interested in, such as patts, plummers, russells, borders and i quite like some types of beddy too. i only really want the dog for ratting maybe a bit of rabbiting, nothing to heavey really and i was just wanderin what you guys would recommend?

think they are great looking dogs but what gives them a shite image is the twats walking around with the great big studded collars on them just to make them look hard.aint fair on the dog,they deserve something better in my opinion Totally agree with this statment!!!!! -
whats your oppinion on using staffords as hunting dogs? are they good, bad, shit or what? if they are good then hunting what? just thought it would be a good talking point.

HIEY ANYONE ON HERE HUNT WITH STAFFYS? GOT ONE MESELF AND WOULD LIKE TO GET HIM INTO IT AND WAS WANDERIN IF THEY WAS ANY GOOD? IF THEY ARE WHAT WITH EG FOXES RABBITS RATS ETC? MY DOG IS NEARLY TWO HAVE I LEFT IT TO LONG TO GET HIM STARTED? HE'S GOT A VERY STRONG PREY DRIVE IN FACT NETHIN THAT MOVES HE WANTS, SO I THINK HE WOULD BE PRETTY GOOD.

Hi i was just wandering weather anyone works manchester terriers anymore? and weather they were any good at the job they were orriginally bred to do, such as rabbiting ratting and that? im looking to buy a terrier and was drawn to the patterdale more than any other but quite like the manc too as was just wandering if it was worth getting one if i wanted to hunt with it? thanks
