  8. ye im out with the local foxhounds every saturday and with the terriers on the local estate every sunday. the estate is 17,500 acre though so plenty of work. and if you hand in the brush in penllyn, north wales you get £3 for the kill. not much but it help pal
  9. ive always wondered what the laws are for working terriers in a rock pile. the law states one dog underground to be used to flush fox to gun. but technically rockpile is above ground sodo the same rules apply? might be a stupid question and i might get stick for being a thick twat lol but had to ask
  10. Totally agree with you. if me and my digging partner were to dig to a fox and release it on our permission we might aswell say goodbye to our permission slips. We get the permission here in north wales to rid the farmer of the foxes legally. letting him go after having him to hand would be suicidal. imagine that same fox was causing havoc during lambing. im sure the farmer would be over the moon
  11. The red one is a tad more accurate but the lack of bleeping is hard to get used to
  12. Yeah shes abit young. Didnt want her to go down tbh, but thankfully fox bolted. She took a bite on the muzzle but nothing to bad. Hoping to start her off slowly in a few months.
  13. Was out on the local estate on sunday with my two terrier pups. Its a 17,500 acre estate so plenty of days to be had on the earths. My mate the gamekeeper came round to show me where i should avoid and so on. While walking back to the car my patterdale bitch, 9.5 months old ran off and into some woods which we knew held some good earths. We followed and to my surprise she could be heard baying at her quarry. She's never seen nowt before. Still cant believe it. It didnt take long for the fox to bolt and the keeper dispatched it with a clean shot of his 12g. Needless to say i drank my fair share
