Was out on the local estate on sunday with my two terrier pups. Its a 17,500 acre estate so plenty of days to be had on the earths. My mate the gamekeeper came round to show me where i should avoid and so on. While walking back to the car my patterdale bitch, 9.5 months old ran off and into some woods which we knew held some good earths. We followed and to my surprise she could be heard baying at her quarry. She's never seen nowt before. Still cant believe it. It didnt take long for the fox to bolt and the keeper dispatched it with a clean shot of his 12g. Needless to say i drank my fair share
