Cheers mate, I would probably double it up with some inch by inch galv mesh.

I was thinking about buying a chicken coop off eBay that holds 6-8 chickens, it's made out of 18ml ply with a really good sized run underneath. Anybody ever had one?

how to get new terriers used to ferrets
Bebop replied to Andrew Beirne's topic in Ferrets & Ferreting
Plenty of exposure, they need to see the ferrets all the time and you handling them. I had a nightmare with my Bedlington dog when I first had the ferrets, he kept on trying to nail them! What I did in the end was hold his jaw and let the ferrets around, I even put one of the ferrets to his nose when holding his jaw and the ferret bit his nose!! Not intended mind. Ever since then he has had respect for them but would never ever take my eyes off him around the ferrets, he just has that look about him from time to time. -
Can't believe how good it sounds! Going to get some and try it. Just wanted something for when the terriers knock themselves up flying through the hedgerows. Thanks skycat that was really useful.

Has anyone ever heard of fieldsman balm for dogs? I think it's sulphur based. If anyone has used it what are your thoughts on it?

I have a bedlington terrier bitch she has a heart murmur. She can run all day and has never shown any signs of fatigue. I would not worry to much, just use your common sense.

Never had any problems with mine. Once the batteries are in the collars I keep the collars and the locator separate because I have had the locator turning mine on when travelling and this reduces battery life. I never leave the batteries in the collars or locator when not in use and I store them indoors.

I have just brought a three tier box off bigbailey, the box is ideal for me because I can take out multiple ferrets and get all my nets and ferret locators in there. The box is extremely light weight for the size, great build quality and at the right price. I am very impressed with my box and would recommend him.
