    Yes its free to a good home! but it is a baikal o/u 12 bore non ejector double trigger which has has the stock repaired. so its okay as a second rough gun or beginners gun. will give free to good home - its too gud to scrap but not good enough to sell - if you know what i mean. must go to north east person upon production of northumbria police shotgun certificate and passport. pm me if interested in this free xmas present. i live near whitley bay and like merlow red wine ha ha buck

    Cheers Dan Will try all the thing people have said. She is stopping on the whistle but it becomes a pain every minute blowing as soon as her nose is down. I have also noticed that her pulling on the lead is also when he nose goes down so every timei see her nose go down ive been lifting her head up by the lead which works but yet again a pain every minute. Any further advice would be great and thanks to everyone who has tried to help Buck

    i have heard of these stop pins that are covered in plastic, which stops the clatter from the recoil of working parts in a ruger 10/22 semi auto. Has anyone used them ?what are they called? any other advice re making these guns quieter. Cheers Buck

    This is my first gundog as moved over from terrir work so im a beginner - I have an 9 mth old cocker who is sitting on command, retrieving etc but she when i let her run forward and do her own thing she runs off until she decides she is too far (100 to 200 metres) then runs back. I am constantly on the whistle which is peeing me off. dont get me wrong she is obediant on the whistle but it would be gud if i could shorten the distance she runs off to. I have tried the shouting and have even ragged her around but she still does it? oh and there's more - she constantly pulls on the leader

    Since i bought my Cocker pup a few weeks ago she has had small blisters of green puss on the belly. These are just under the first layer of skin and can be removed by just wiping with cloth and then i apply disinfectant but they just come back in diff places. Im reluctant to take to the vets as they narf rip you off around where i live - any ideas, they vary from pin head size to about 8 mm. Cheers Buck

    8 week old cocker has ate a small pea gravel stone. she seems as if its done no harm (yet) she is fit and still eating like a horse but its in the back of my mind that this was a pea gravel stone and will it pass through her insides? what do you recon? is this common? dont want vets ripping my eyes out as usual if not needed cheers buck

    ADVICE WANTED RE LOCATORS. SAY I BOUGHT A MK 3 DEBEN FERET LOCATOR AND COLLAR. AND THEN I BOUGHT A TERRIER MK 3 COLLAR. WILL THE LOCATOR PICK UP EITHER ITEMS OR ARE THEY JUST FERRET ONES AND TERRIER ONES (DIFF FEQUENCY OR WHATEVER). SORRY FOR IGNORANCE AND THANKS FOR ANY POSSITVE ADVICE. BUCK.

    QUESTION RE SPRINGER SPANIELS. I LOVE TO SEE SMALL SPRINGER SPANIELS, ITS PROBABLY BECAUSE IVE BEEN A TERRIER MAN FOR SO LONG - ANYWAY IM BEATING AND PIGEON SHOOTING NOW AND IVE BEEN LOOKING TO GET A COCKER PUP BECAUSE THEY ARE SMALL BUT CANT FIND A GOOD ONE. QUESTION IS ARE THE SMALLER SPRINERS A CERTAIN STRAIN OR WHAT CAUSE IF I CANT GET A COCKER I WOULD HAVE A SMALL SPRINGER BUT HOW CAN YOU TELL WITHOUT SEEING DAM AND SIRE TOGETHER. ANY INFO WOULD BE GOOD THANKS BUCK
