    They might just as well say that it's crossed with a badger. Both Biologically members of the marten-family, but both genetically not able to breed together with a ferret or polecat.

    Washing doesn't do sh*t, except keeping you busy that is If it's just the tail, there's nothing to worry about. If it's al over the body, it's most likely an adrenal problem. Or in case of a Jill that's kept too long into season it's often (literally translated from Dutch to English) bonemarrowdepression. Both diseasescan kill if left untreated. But as I said, as long as it's just the tail and not the ass, it's nothing to worry about. Mostly this only occurs in the summer. With some ferrets each summer, with others only one or two summers.

    Think my dog originates from Nuttal lines. Not really sure though. Goes to show that I don't realy give a rat's ass if it's Booth, Nuttal, Gould or what have you. Since I'm looking for a worker I'm more interested in what a dog (or it's dam and sire) does in the field rather than the name of the bloodlines. But that's me.

    I've done a few small jobs as well in the summer. Next week I'm starting somewhere else, this is a bigger area where a lot of damage needs to be controlled. Hopefully it won't be too warm.

    The title pretty much says it all. Been out fishing for flatfish the other day and I caught a bunch of small fish of which I don't know the english name, Its a small cod-like fish. Eitherway, I was thinking about using these as baitfish on a leadhead for cod. Anyone ever tried this and does it work OK?

    Thinking about purchasing a new spade for my ferreting. I've got a similar spade which is getting old. Plus a friend of mine wants a similar spade as well. But do any of you guys have one and do you like it? By the way, the ground in Holland is usually less rocklike than some ground I've dug in England, Germany or Normandy. So it doesn't have to be the harderst of the hardest spade, but it would be nice if it were. And I'm definately going to spend 50 quid or more to a spade now. Hope you guys can give me a bit of info.     Hi there, Just signed up. Probably won't be posting to much here. I'm from the southern part of Holland. I do some ferreting on rabbits and I've got a pair of dogs used for underground quarry such as fox, badger and nutria. Used to do a bit of drivenhunts for wild boar and deers. Cheers, Blaireaut
