    With my tuned xs78 I get 3cm groupings at 35yards using rws superdomes .177. But I'm not the best and that's from sitting position.

I have a minimum 50% improvement! Great fun to use and that's what this sport is all about, having fun not flashing the cash.

    Its just like the acoustic chrono with mic and laptop. It hears shot noise and hit noise, calculatiting the fps. Knowing the weight of the pellets will help calculate the ft/lbs. Its simple math in an app

    Once you have used one you don't understand how sweet they can be. Money isn't eveything. Also very cheap and easy to repair if anything was to go wrong.

    Milegajo is right. I have a qb78 which for some reason people don't like. I understand there chinese and cheap but once stripped cleaned de-bured and polished I now have a super accurate 9ft/lb rifle at 25-30yards. Yet to be dissopointed. I'm sure all you require would be a good clean and check you spring. Atb

    I tried this app today at only 20 feet. It wasn't register a hit noise. I'll try again when I have more room out side when snow has gone.

    I came across this last night on google play store. Just search gun chrono. The free one is enough to test you gun. I am yet to try this out but thought I would let you guys know about it. It works on the same principle as the accoustic test with laptop and mic's but all you need is a android phone or tablet. Please record you results here if you are to try it out.     Thx for ur imput. I took it back to the shop and was basicly told what should I expect for what I paid. So I decided to buy a seal kit, smoothed and polished all the inners and trigger. Now its working perfectly fine.

    Cheers mate! Just been to test it again and its not firing. So now I have a pellet in the breech with full co2 charge that isn't engaging. Arrggghhh

    I have a qb78. Its only had about 40pellets through it todate. Its only a few weeks old and it seems to have lost power quite dramaticly! I have changed the co2 to new ones and it the same. Both gun and co2 have been stored and used at room temp (20'c). Need taking back to the shop? Don't really want to coz I just rang them and tried explaining and I got told I don't know anything and its cold out. Even though I told him I used it in doors shooting down my yard (plenty of space and back stop)

    Cool. I think I seens seans work somewhere else before. I presumed the ratty and qb's were very simular in fitting to a stock, apologies.

    Qb78 are very underestimated. I have one and like bandog said at 35yards they're excelent at grouping in the right hands with the right tuning. Lovely gun mate, I'll drop that guy a line as I'm looking for a new stock. Atb
