    She's only 5 months now haha but my staffs 5 years so I trust her to teach her and hopefully it'll pay off when she's with other dogs

    I had the same with my saluki x pup. She always plays too rough with my staffy, runs along side then grabs her on the back of the neck, trying to take her down with no fear at all. Was more worried that she was going to get knacked lol. She's been socialised just not off the leash! I asked a mate for advice and he said let them get on with it, she needs to learn! sure enough after a few bundles and yelps she now enjoys the chase and runs circles round the staff but knows to keep just out of range or she'll get put in her place.

    I'm looking forward to it, I've got a feeling she'll want to chase the other dogs rather than win any races though :-/ haha

    Thanks mate, yeah she was a bargain, some lass had her and wanted , which I would of paid, but haggled her down to 50 :-) I've had her since she was 13weeks

    Cheers mate, a lad I used to work with goes out lamping, so hopefully I can tag along with them.

    Hi, been reading a lot of posts, getting loads of good advice. Always had staffys but fancied a lurcher and got offered a saluki x greyhound pup for £50. She's a pet but gonna have her out as much as I can once she's a bit older, hopefully get some permission. She's 18 weeks now and has my staffys life haha. Any questions I've got I'll be asking on here :-)

    Would it be worth bringing my 18 week old pup? Or should I leave her at home til next year? I'm a first timer :-D
