my two year old loves watching the dogs play "hide and seek " with the rabbits LOL. when the dogs "find one" and bring it back we have to put it in a special bag to keep it warm while its asleep.... :

Used to hunt with a lad who's hounds lived in the trailer we took hunting. I'm fairly sure there still in there now. I don't hunt with him any more told him every time we were out hunting to sort the thing out and buy a kennel an some of those gates u see round building sites but I mite as well of being talking to a wall it was in one ear and out the other

people have been feeding dogs bread for years and untill one dies from it it will continue to happen. ask any greyhound man with a kennel full of top class dogs and one thing they have in common is that they feed bread

out lamping with two other lads. we where driving down a backroad with one of the lads lampng out the window and he sees a pair of orange eyes and he tells the driver to reverse back to the gate. before the car stops he opens the door wich hits a tree and is bent in half and to top it off the pair of orange eyes he seen ended up being a sheep

Is a lurcher good because of its blood line or is it because of the time that as been put into trainning it as a pup. Can a pup from crap parents be made into a all round hunting machine. ?

To the second, yes.

breeding pups from pups isnt right. get plenty of digs over her in the next 4 years and if she is a good worker ie good finder stays with game untill dug and doesnt lie to far back from quarry so that when you open up both dog and fox are there without needing another hole opened then consider breeding from her
