  1. You get show type peds and racing type peds, but most people in the ped world just call non peds lurchers!
  2. I would say non ped for that type off, stuff no point paying more for a ped if just going to use it for working etc
  3. Think bill was just responding to the fact that “green lurcher” was saying racing dogs can only run for 150-240 yards, which is an inexperienced thing to say. The dogs run that distance because that’s the length of the race ? if they had to keep running it be pointless. Think everyone knows a good dogs always in the breeding, can’t make a silk purse outa sows ear! I have pure bred racing dog and it would run all day if a let it, very naive of someone to think it couldn’t just cause it’s a racer!
  4. I’ve read this about eight times and it’s not made sense once ? Without being cheeky, what are you trying to say?
  5. This my full race bred bitch, Jura she about 19” and 21lbs
  6. this is a really good thread, keep the pics coming.
  7. has he good feet on him, i hear people say some of the racing lines have bad or injury prone feet, but for all i know its just hear say. Kind of the reason i started this topic. I really want to see what these different types are like and hear from their owners about their good and bad pionts instead of a guy that knows a guy with racing whippets and cant wait to knock them. A.t.b bren.. he has good strong feet on him! never had any trouble, think if you keep the nails in good order you shouldnt have a problem!
  8. he is 14mnths and 21tts, has had a few rabbits but he has good racing lines so I have just started him racing and so far so good!
