  7. I take it it would be no use trying to decoy them over grass , as I don't think there is any clover in the fields ?

  11. Hey I have a hw97kt in .22 caliber and was wondering if anyone has used a chronograph on this rifle as I was looking to use the hawke balistic software , the rifle hasnt been tuned and I am firing 15grain weihrauch pellets

Thanks for the feedback , went out for another walk about the fields again earlier and and spotted my first woodie about 70 yards away in the grass , decided to stalk in a little closer but by the time I was within range he had waddled into the hedge , but I'm determined and will be out again tomorrow

Went for a walk around the fields looking for some woodpigeons , I came across one on the other side of the hedge from me on the ground , anyone know why these birds would come down to the ground in fields , is there a food source ? I also notices alot of them in trees that have alot of greenery so I wasn't able to see them but I could here them , I was just wondering if they usually land in the same trees and if sitting in the area and waiting for them to land is effective ?   14. Hey there , I recently just bought David james's DVD and there is a section in it about how he baits corvids using bread , I was just wondering if anyone here has tried this method as he seems to get very good results in the DVD
  15. Angry Han In the law it says that the young person can apply for a firearms liscence for pest control on agricultural land occupied by the young person or On which he works and also resides. Does this include land on permissions I have ?
  16. My air rifle is held on my grandas FAC. , I was going to wait until I was 18 and move it to my own FAC , can you get an FAC below the age of 18 ?
  17. I am 16 and and very responsible with my rifle , I don't think farmers would be keen on letting someone of my age shoot on their land , worth a try anyway. I live in Northern Ireland , is the law different than in England ?

  23. I'm just gonna keep on trying , yesterday I had a greyback crow that landed in the tree behind my decoys but he was out of range , maybe some bait would be more effective , has anyone ever tried setting an owl decoy with a dead crow at its feet ?

Hey there I recently got myself two full bodied crow decoys and a magpie decoy and have been decoying over grass fields with little success , I have also got an owl decoy but have had no success with it , I was just wondering if you could share some of your ideas and techniques on decoying these birds Thanks , Michael
  25. Hey , I go out corvid and pigeons decoying but the birds always seem to see me , I was wondering if adding some camouflage to my natural hide would help conceal me , is it worth buying ?
