  12. I started taking him when he was about 13 14 mths and got a rabbit that nite and reds bout 16 mths
  13. even if it doesnt have him he does it on rabbits aswell.its a strange type high pitched LOUD type growl.he has never bounced anything in his life. hes done it from his 1st rabbit and hes 5 now.its just so frustrating as he is brilliant at everything bar that, and get some stick over.any one ever have the same problem before??

  15. alrite there i've been working 1 for 4 years he s brilliant every task asked of him hes done but he can let out sometimes on prey but diffently the way to go no dout.. my dog can do everything my mates bull strightcross can do but his couldn't run the lenght of its self and have a good coarse like mine
  16. hi there have two russel, patterdale, wheaton cross pups trying get pics up.I own the mum a russel i use for cover work and boltn charlie now shes far from a hard dog but my 1st terrier she does the job but i got good strong patt, wheaton over her and she had 2 dogs spitfire&hurricane 6mths old and same size as mum i love them even now you can see how strong willed and hardy they are couldnt be happier with them .but when they were wk old son kept asking me something but i couldnt here him right thought he was saying can he see the pups so i said yes then 5 mins later he came bk with sissors
  17. diffently agree about the turning but if you can run 2 when the 1st one turns the coarse the 2nd one 9 times out of ten nails it.
  18. surely that should come down to what the dog was bought for working or house pet, shouldn't matter how often it gets worked just means wont be as sharp as one worked more often.
  19. my granda and uncle used to run them on deer&hare pre ban but there really prone to injury, big open fields diffently advisable.
  20. new to the site, been running lurchers for years and at the terriers for 2.looking forward to the discussions and learning more especially on the terriers.thanks
