    never done much river fishing but me and my mate r joining the derwent river this year, apparently you can put in for a days swap with people at scotland for the day

    i get all over mate, but my "local" fishery is sharpley springs, but i fish scotland, yorkshire quite alot aswell

    ahh i see, i only fish it once in a blue moon, mainly stick to the small waters

    ahh i already have the reel, its just i have an airflo rod at the min and its abit flexable for me

    defo mate, only thing we didnt keep was the squirrel but the lad that took us out took it out 4 his birds

    absolutley mate, like i said i've been all over, no joy anywhere, was up scotland last sunday with afew mates pigeon shooting, lad called scrutchy on here takes people out, hes a top lad and it was a good day aswell, might be worth a look when you get your sgc Sounds spot on, Its class when people like that give a helping hand, you get many?. The wait is killing me now just want to buy my own gun and get used to it instead of borrowing other peoples. between 4 of us we got 12 or 13 pigeons, 2 pheasants, a rook and a squirrel there was pigeons all over all day tho, just couldnt hi

    my mate just got his sgc a week ago and the interview about 5 weeks prior 2 that so i wouldnt worry 2 much, if u havnt had a letter saying no its looking good

    cant fault it mate, was out pigeon shooting with it on sunday and i take it clay pigeon shooting aswell, had no problems with it what so ever, i can highly recommend them

    lol yup it sure is different! i only had air guns before i got my sgc, learnt very soon after i got it how different it was, sure u'll enjoy it all the same though! atb shaun

    again mate not in your area but steve smiths at dinnington (not far from newcastle airprot) is a good ground, not really sure of the prices but they have a website u could ring up and ask before makeing the journey
