I saw this object from Newcastle at 10.50pm last night, thought it was a firework at first, it was glowing green like burning copper with a long glowing trail with bits coming off it and was travelling east to west. Interestingly the observatory at Kielder witnessed a similar or the same object at 9.41pm but I looked at my watch and the time was 10.50pm. Could there have been more than one event?. Meteors burn up in a couple of seconds but this took about 20 seconds from when I saw it to travel across the sky changing from a glowing greenish colour to a golden colour as it fizzled out. It di
