Iv just bought one from the states if your no good with technology don't get one but from what I can fathom out about it they do come in handy saying that i haven't lost my hound since I got it so haven't really had need to use it yet

Sorry to say this but it's a good old case of tell nobody nowt all guns should be kept in a gunsafe out of the way even if being repaired just because they're air guns doesnt make them any less lethal also if he's told his bosses who else might he have told ie mates down the pub local scallys etc I would be more worried about having my house robbed than pen pushers IMO as has been said before though an air gun unless fac does not require a licence so you should be ok on the council side of things but get a nice big cabinet for your guns ;-)

For me it's the same as digging the hole in the first place just in reverse

Don't bother with the pulsar challenger they're no good unless you have a good ir illiminator and even then they're not that great if you want good night vision you have to spend a LOT more than £300 I have had loads of different ones pulsar yukons paladin just to mention a few great for rats at 10 yards but no good for owt else stick to the good old lamp and battery IMO

Sad to hear but all too common I'm afraid but one things for sure I bet the dog got out ok they have a habit of doing that weather it be a swollen river iced up pond the person goes into save the dog but the dog gets out anyway.I would do anything for my dogs but I definitely would not jump into a river pond or suchlike

Good gun but I wouldn't have shot at the one on the box no safe backstop and with 100 ftlbs slightly overkill for tree rats IMO but good shooting either way
-
Had a look at the 320 but I'm a poor man so looks like the 220 will be getting ordered tomorrow I think I'm going to need it somehow
-
Has anybody had any experience with the garmin astro 220 and dc40 collar for finding hounds
-
Had bellman and barryvox but think the barryvox had some deep digs and always on top of the dog whatever the depth imo
-
Why not buy the suction bar so there's no nasty hole in the roof and can be transferred from car to car
