open season

Hi folks my name is Barry, ive been shooting airguns for some 30 years now and love them, back in the old days i had a bit of land to shoot on and we could just walk out of our house and up the fields with our guns with no hassle pitty you cant do that now, which is such a shame Im also into photography and enjoy snapping away i will eventually get some on here when and if i ever get some where to shoot again the land i used to shoot on is now a housing estate BUUMMMER !!!!!!!!!

So i am looking for some kind sole to give me permission once again.i am 46 years old so i no all about respect for others

I am willing to help out with any one wanting a partner to shoot with, i own a car if you can call it that LOL, BUT HEY IT DOES ME.

ive trained as a welder and was at one time a coded welder in stick and mig, so i might be able to help out on the farm, possibly for a spot of rabbiting, i am also Gorgi registered if that helps.

I have owned many Airguns over the years, as for many other people on here will have done. From springers to gas rams to pcps all brilliant guns in their own right never a dull moment with any of them had fantastic fun for years something to cherish for ever now thats life.

Some of the greatest fantastic moments i have had while out shooting is a flock of rooks attacking a crow decoy brilliant to watch.

A couple of mice playing only feet away from me as i waited for the rabbits to appear.

Bird of prey landing above me on a tree branch with a mouse in its tallens looking down at me in a hide.

Rabbits boxing on a stream bankside, brilliant to watch as i was hid in christmas trees waiting for them so interesting to watch i left them alone and went home.

Rats i was shoooting never used the same entrance hole twice this was amazing to see in a small tip i had permission on years ago

One of the most memorable was a barn Owl sweeping the bases of trees as i waited for rabbits such an unbelievable sight, the silent flight was heart touching never seen anything like these ever again.

One funny thing i remember i was laid (on belly) in wait for the rabbits one evening next to a wire mesh fence that enclosed xmas trees with an opening in the middle i was scanning the area through the scope when the horizon turned from blue sky to brown fair i jumped out of my skin to see a rabbits full eye and face in the scope the bloody thing had only hopped and sat right at the end of my rifle lol.
