i would have loved to have come had i been closer

i had a similar problem with my old theoben rapid i took it into the gun shop and they replaced some worn parts and hey presto back up to doing what it was supposed to and earning me my dinner

going out again tomorrow so will let you know how we get on

and thats the problem recognising the beats, and believe me i tried to see them

put my first ones out last night only had 5 out no joy this morning, after reading the snaring advice on the site, i had made tealers that put the noose 6 inches above the ground, and 2 were tripped in the way that suggested that they were too low and they had closed up on the nose so that the furry little blighter got out, any ideas what went wrong or was it just a case of the frost and bad luck, any help appreciated, ant recommendations on other sorts of traps to use
