  1. tbh in my opinion i prefer to have a little more than just a pure bred just due to past experience i found a collie grey caught alot more and wasnt much slower at all and thats not just on one occasion thats over a few different dogs. they seem to have a little more brains as well, also found beddy whippet is a fantastic dog to have if your into ferreting as well but the choice is yours just my opinion and past experence. atb
  2. plenty of road work soon sorts that oot mate... and this is very true my friend, hopefully when it gets a little better ill get her at side of bike agian get her in shape
  3. nah wouldnt say this is true, due to the fact that mine is kept in the house sleeps on sofa everynight and shes just as keen if not keener than those i no that keep them outsidebthe only down side is that the digs have much softer paws which tend to cut and graze alot easier. just my opinon though atb
  4. if your pup has something that he loves to play with, take it with you have him on the lead then when he stops just entise him to come with the toy, in my case with my bitch was a pair of socks, that i used to get her fetching 2 or 3 times a day she loved em and i used them. atb

  16. chillll winstan lol, nah serious just let it be pup it will in time become more game, some dogs mature and become (keener) sooner than others mine was pretty keen from maybe 6 - 7month she wanted to go for anything that moved, which was good but bad in a way i used to have to keep her on lead didnt want to ruin her (during day walks, dont mean on lamp at that age) but yh just give the pup time its all a patience game my friend atb

  18. hey just wondering ive got a bedlington whippet x kelpie collie grey shes just over 9 month old and 21tts what do you think an ideal weight would be for that type of dog and hgeight shes currently at 24.4lb. and also what would you guys reccomend to bulk her up abit, like excercise wise should i have her walking or try keep her jogging so to speak, thanks
  19. what i did was got an old pair of socks and used to throw them my bitch and she loved chewing she saw it as a game then when it was time for her to be llead trained all i did was walked with her then when my bitch stopped and sat i got the socks out and waved them in her face and it took her mind off the lead and she walked took a few times but eventually she was fine with lead, but what i found a problem at a young age was cars she was hell scared at first of cars, so i used to take her dusk time when there not as many out around my village and eventually build her up, hope this helps atb
