  1. is off to Snowdonia on the weekend, goat hunting.

  2. I got myself a Zeiss Vic 2.5-10 x 50. perfect for everything from rabbits to stags. would like a cheaper set though, for when i'm out and about and don't mind getting a few scratches on, you know what i mean. going to the CLA gamefair near the end of the month to try pick something up. seen a few in sporting rifle and shooting times.
  3. i always think you should try before you buy. if you wanna spend you're money, the shop should let you have a little go of them before you do. always ask around your friends and get recommendations. if you go too cheap, you always end up thinking, if you spent another £50 you could of got the ones you really wanted, and you grow to dislike what you did buy. keep you eyes out for sales and bargains, you can get a chunk off if you do decide to spend big. the simple fact is, the lower you spend, the quality get lower too.
  4. just a tip - your best off spending decent money on something quality which will last 10 years, than spending little money on 10 pieces of crap which only last 1 year. get as good a scope mount as you can, trust me it's worth it. find a good gunsmith to fit it too, then you're set. kev x
