  3. i know it shouldnt be the case but different areas seem to apply the rules slightly differently. as regards to mental health etc you now sign or tick a box on the application which gives the plod the right to access your doctors records to check for previous or ongoing health problems. Again rightly said you do not need ground to shoot ... knowledge of local clay shoots etc do help.... but IF you have ground it certainly helps... also wee tip i was given... when you fill in the application put in the relevant section regarding ground "" AND OR ANY OTHER OBTAINED GROUND OR INVATIONAL SHO

  11. i am fairly new to this home loading caper and i realise he has the big brother and i should have pointed out it was my opinion if whoever was looking for one rifle as an all rounder...i only own the .25-06 ( apart from my little .22). when i was thinkin bout this calibre i read up on it and it apparently came from guys shooting the great plains in the US where they couldnt get close due to lack of cover and were shooting at 300 400 yards. ( i got history wrong here?). i also know a guy whose uses grn bullet head regular and they do the job for him ( hes a gamie ) i myself have

Nice buck foxy nice to get a shot somewhere you havent gotten them before, nice head looks pretty uniform and the colours , good, one to remember for definite Is that a T8 sound mod you have on????? i have heard alot about the T8 and how they have gone to pieces on folk and for the right lazy ones i have heard in extreme cases of barrels being ruined coz they have left the mod on the rifle. you heard or know of anybody with similar probs foxy? i ended up going for a Pez12 you can remove the outer sleeve to clean em and they are bloody good mods!!!!!!!!!!! nice buck
  17. it was a no bad stalk , ive ot been doing this stalkin ( deer honest! ) caper too long but i was chuffed with it shot at about 90 yards using homeload .2506 calibre and it folded! good bullet placement and minmal carcass damage so im certainly not complaing. guy who was with me reckoned it wasnt very old either and was certainly no sign of previous injury and he was in bloody good nick body wise etc etc. funnily enuff similar beasts taken from there before , like i said im no expert but reckon it could be heridatery?
