well at the time i didnt think about that . i was a bit shocked at all the police ther . so i never asked but if they keep coming i no to ask . might be a good idea to file a complaint anyway
they just looked at ther chins ad pissed off dint even say owt . i think they thought they were gonna come and find terriers wi the chin off . scince them lads up our way got caught the police have gone well over the top to try and make an example . 4 other lads i no in the same area have had Knocks aswell
i run a couple of young hounds on . they marked a drain so in the terrier went across the vally a local man had been watching . cut a long story short i got back cleaned the terrier up poped it in the back of the motor and stated to feed the hounds . i came out of the kennel to find 6 police men in my back garden asking about my dogs . i let the hounds out and they was cheking the hounds chins and teeth looking for signs of diggin . they was askin about my nets my couplings and asking if i use locators . just to let the other lads no incase they get a nock .
any body starting some young dogs off this season ? russels , pats , lakys xs lets see ! this is my young dog he caught the back end of last season this will be his first season .
i saw a really well put together russel a few days back i asked about the breeding and it had part bull in it . it was really well put together with a strong head . so i asked how old the dog was and the chap laughed and said it was a bitch . has any body anything simular with a few pictures to see . cheers
i spoke to the man in wales and he said that the man who bred it is not called ray and he lives an hour out of stoke . the first 2 pictures were taken by the man who bred the bitch
thanks for the posts guys i read your comments and they were alot better than i was expecting . i decided to take the young dog on and i will keep posted how he is and how he works if he works . like i said he was bred out of x working stock wich is now just showing stock so this is sort of a test cheers
i have seen a few nuttal dogs graft and i have not a bad word to say about them . did any body see miner or copper work ? if so how did they work were they the hard type , the mixer or the baying type ?
do you think that alot of show people keep the strain and keep them only for shows has ruined the line some ? the reason i ask is i have a chance of a young dog still green . awsome looking animal but i think the parents have just been for showing and not working ! do you think the dog would still have the work ability or would this have been lost with lack of work and too much show ?
i have never worked one my self and have only ever seen them at shows . i am told that the older stuff was good hard stock but most of the line around today is mainly show poney stuff ?
