  1. Poor little thing, she obviously has no idea. It's a shame really, my ferts love rats, By the looks of her she was probably expecting to feed it a veggie diet too. she certainly looks like she needs feeding up herself.
  2. Grand looking little chaps. I wouldn't feed them too much dry food (if any) at their age, raw meat, as much as they'll eat is the best thing for kits.
  3. Must be the day for for finishing ferret housing, finished ours last night.
  4. If you have a poultry supplier nearby you may be able to get chicken carcasses, necks, wings etc in bulk, I buy carcasses in 5kg bags for the ferrets and dogs, I pay £1.50 per bag. You could also get some frozen rats or mice from most pet shops, they're great ferret food as they are whole prey items and a more balanced, complete meal. I feed my ferrets and dogs a mixture of raw chicken, mice, rats, fish, eggs, lamb, beef, pork (which is safe to feed these days as methods of rearing, slaughter and butchery are different and a ferrets stomach is very acided so parasites have a hard time to surv
  5. I second the HS-10, also the Lumix FZ-45 delivers great results.
  6. I'd be interested as I'm in Derby and looking for a ferret but it's a bit too much for me at the moment and I don't have a car or van to collect. Lovely set up though.
  7. Hi, my name's Mandy, 38 from Derby. I'm a supporter of fieldsports, used to shoot (air-rifle) 18 odd years ago and worked in a fox-hunting yard after leaving school. Nowadays the only shooting I do is with my camera, I'm a keen photographer, mainly of wildlife/animals. Initially though I've joined the forum as I'm interested in ferrets and have placed an ad in the wanted section for some kits.
