  2. hi guys some advice needed just bought a 13 month old springer bitch, the guy i bought it of told me she was doing the basics but he wanted to go into field trailing with labs and hadnt got the time to take her out in the field anymore,so when i brought her out to do a few dummy retrieves she done everything i ask of her,but [bANNED TEXT] she sees another dog,or cow she gets relly nervous and just lays down or runs behind me and as i want her for the field will i be able to get this out of her or is their anything i can give her to help with the nerves.
  3. flying c's and mepps work 4 me ive also caught a lot on the flying ally's which is basically a bucktail flying c dressed in the same way as the ally shrimp flies but thier expensive and so r rapala i wouldnt be wanting to loosing to many of them.try orkon fishing tackle they do some good deals on single and double bladed flying c's

  5. here mate il take any tps you have as i want to take up pigeon shooting my email is gerdy32@hotmail.co.uk thanks
  6. i have the 50th anniversary edition too, cant fault the little gun and it looks apart.i mostly use it for rabbits, but have also shot foxes with it killed 5 out of six with a single shot with cci velocitor the sixth needing a second shot, but now i use it just for rabbits as im applying for .223 for foxes.i use winchester super x subs zeroed at 75 yards with wildcat whisper mod and spartan bipod as i say it looks good and works as well as it looks.
  7. what kind of distance can you see with this unit mate.
  8. was wondering has anyone made thier own pigeon magnet, hope thats what you call it anyway, its the motorised spinning one for dummies like me lol.if so could you post on which motor too use thanks.
  9. thats sounds just what im looking for mate, cos i can get the full package for a grand, scope, mod and rings.compared to a tikka which would add 500 quid extra which is just outa my budget at the moment.what grain of bullets you using
  10. I have had one for nearly two years, its a standard with a hogue stock, my shooting partner has one with the walnut stock, does all what i bought it for, thats foxing. Shoots great groups especially with home loads, a great gun for the money, nothing special but gets the job done.
  11. was thinking about getting a howa .223 rifle for foxing, just wondering has any body got any experience with these rifles if so could use thier advice thanks
  12. i use a wildcat whisper with my cz alough a bit more than you would like to spend, there super quiet you can hear the firing pin strike the bullet,i use winchester super x subsonic ammo, scirroco also make a good mod but it adds too much length to the barrle for me.
  13. what calibre is your tikka t3 mate was thinking of getting one in .223 lite
