    hahaha thanks guys....i will calm down and forget about it (well try to ) i rung that number today, they said they have my application, and everything is fine, he said the 'field officer' has a very busy diary atm, but he said he will get him to ring me back by the end of the day... it never happened, but ahwell, just have to wait

    How/where do you pay for import duties? You have to go to the Post Office and pick the parcel up and pay for it then?

    Hi all Ive found that buying am scope form American ebay is a lot cheaper, but there seems to be some laws to do with exportation of scopes out of the country. Has anybody had the same issue? I found this on a site, but im a tad confused 'International Shipping: Several items we are able to ship internationally.     Only 2 at the moment, cus i like having a pickup style back, but i have a 2 seater bench seat that goes in the back.

    Sami definitely, mines a right beast, goes anywhere, only £500 a year to insure too

    Have you seen this months Sporting Rifle? Theres a good write up on Fox shooting with the HMR, he put a Hawke Panorama 4x12-40 IR scope on it, it sounds good value for the price, so i think thats what i'm going to go for.

    Well, they have redeemed( if thats the right word) the cheque, so hopefully something is on the move.

So atm im thinking the Simmons, do you (or anyone) know where i can get one, i take it they arent available new in the uk??? Or the 'second hand market'...by that do you just mean ebay lol!     Hi Guys A bit of advice please, ive been researching on here about scopes for my (when i get it) .17HMR and too be honest my mind has cooked itself. Everybody is saying different things! So ive got to the fact that 1. I want a fair bit of magnification up to X16, and i do a fair bit of night work, so decent glass for that...does it have to be IR?? I quite like Hawke nite eye 4x16x50 Simmons whitetail 6.5X20X50 BSA sweet 17 (this one doesnt sound as good
