hey there, i have a bsa lighting xl in .177 i would recomend it to any one, hell of a gun, not to bad on weight so acurate, i use logun ps they are great with my gun, also RWS super ds are good

could this improve my bsa xl ?? and [bANNED TEXT] would be the difference than a spring ??

at the moment with my bsa xl .177 i am zeroed in at 25 yrds, which is what i take all my rabbits with.... but i was wondering what is the futherest effective killing range my gun has ?? at 25yrds i can put at least 7-10 shots under and inc.. so could i greater the distance of my zeroing ??? all advice needed cheers tim

been out for a cupple of hours, manage 2 rabbits, missed some realy easy shots, should of been 4-5 rabbits, but had the 2 rabbits at 20-30 yards head shots killed in an instant....... will post some pictures on soon all the best

i use .177 logun penetrators with my bsa xl, i find them so spot on, and they are just sluggers lol, i took my first rabbit with them and many others, and find they just do the job, but then agen i have never used the aa so i dont no, might get some next to compare ??

well its just the case of me and my mate, get to a fence have a scan with the lamp, then enter the feild, and walk very slowly to the rabbits, and as we get in range wip the lamp back on and they either already gone, or they run like hell [bANNED TEXT] the lamp comes on ! ! !, can any one recomend one of those scope mounted lamps ??? cheers

i have the bsa xl in .177 and i find its way more acurate thanany of my freinds .22, its can flop a rabbit over with no fuss, like sed before light, and a wicked gun wouldnt trade it in for any thing else

i use a bsa xl .177, i find it more acuarate than .22, but hasnt got the knock down power of the .22 so shots must be taken when there is a certain head shot, in my opiniun..

my mates got one good lil rifle but i find it end hevy [bANNED TEXT] i have a pop with it, [bANNED TEXT] u want is a bsa xl crackin lil gun haha

well the day went better than planed, managed one rabbit, took long enuf time to get about 30meters head shot, droped dead in its tracks so it was all good, might be going back tonite for an hour before dusk see how it goes

hellow all, just to ask for some advise and what not..... going to some new land i have just been given permistion to shoot on and its teaming with rabbits, im going out tomorow for a little bash and was wanderin if u would have any good tips of these rabbits ie better walking and stalking or just siting and waiting ???................. also i have a bsa xl and was wonderin if the rws super domes would take a rabbit down?? its .177, i have logun penatrators as well but was just wondering all advise needed and welcome cheers tim

well just go for it thats all you got to do, but then agen i only got that info cus i was in your shoes only yesterday lol but the lads on here gave me all the info i needed. and it work for me lol so what are you lookin to shoot then any thing inpartcular, i chose my farm becuase it is teeming with rabbits and i hve seen a cupple with mixy so thats why i been given the opertunity to shoot. hi i have had the same problem as you with asking for the permission, i got loads of rely good infro from the lads on here and i put it into use. the best thing to do is aproach the people face to face, be polite and allways thank them for their time ect even if they dont give you it, its allways worth just being polite. the best thing you can do is just ask aslong you can prove you are responseable ect there should be no problem. it could be worth telling were else you were shooting at ?? to prove you have had experince and not just gun ho. hope all go well and [bANNED TEXT] can get some ide

well good day today after all the info that was given to me very gratefull of i have been down to the local farmer and ask him and [bANNED TEXT] you no he sed yes would be glad to let me shoot the rabbits cus he says there doin lot of damge. ok so that is sorted but [bANNED TEXT] methods do u think will be most preductive ?? and could any one reomend a relitvly cheep but good rifle lamp and mounts ect ??? adive allways extreamly welcome all the best tim

been to the farmer and he sed he would be very happy for me to shoot the rabbits and there was even talk of other pests including woodies. im going there in 2 weeks time to visit the whole amount of land and sort out times and shooting times and [bANNED TEXT] have u, cheers for all the info givin to me all the best tim

i will do dw, i been talkin to my dad and he rekons some bloke around here got all the shooting rights for the farms around here. and if so i am goin to get hold of him even though i might not get the rights but to imform him of the rabbits with the mixy.... stil goin to ask the farmer see what happens.. tim

cheers [bANNED TEXT] sounds all good goin out this weekend, will try to put everything into practice lol, another question,there are some feilds near me and i have noticed that they are teeming with rabbits and i belive some have mixy, and to my knowing i dont think the farmer bothers with them so do u think it would be worth askin if he would like me to try and keep numbers down and prevent a larger mixy out breck??? how would it be best to aprach him to ask and that all adivse welcome tim

hi there lads im 16 and from somerset and new to this forum and would just like to say got loads of tips and othat form topics which is good , atm i have a bsa xl, which i love so far with it i have shot on my second outing on my mates farm, a rat, peigon and best of all i maged to get within 15yars of a rabbit and dispatch it humainly, my bsa is a .177 and i use logun penatrators they seem to do the job, any one else hunt with a .177 ?? and any tips for stalkin the woods for peigons and tree rats, due to the fact they are recking the feeders ?? any advise would be great hope to here from so
