    I have done paulus mate. The box is feckin tiny though , but I fitted it all in...eventually lol getting the referees done today, then il send my form off. How long shall I expect? For the home meeting, or if they think I'm not suitable will they not even come? Lol cheers

    Not sure about storing it where u don't live. But with clean record no reason not to have one like. Visit your local plod and ask for application form, if like me, I had to phone main place an they put me through to firearms dep, then they sent me it in post. Good luck.

    Cheers mate. Read it all. I don't think il get it cos of my past. Nothing to loose though, although last time I got in any trouble was 3years ago. And not anything since, living with my partner, got a 4month baby and iv changed my ways a lot. So hopefully they will see that.

    If u can tell where 30-50-60-120 yrds are ,your pretty good mate lol its the same with anything, practice and more practice. 70 yrds on targets regular will familiarise yourself with size of target in scope at say x10. If I'm not 100% I won't take shot. Obviously misses are inevitable. Atb mate

    i too was thinking attick , as its a bare brick wall there, no studs,plasterboard and skirting board to feck about with, filled in both forms today, still undecided as to what calibre to put. im defintely putting down for a .223. a 12g, Fac air. and .17hmr OR .22lr. all the videos iv seen and heard people shoot the .22lr out to , doesnt really give me any benefit over a bloody airgun though, as a sub 12 can be pushed to 70yards. but i do have large open permission also, which is almost impossible with an airgun lol and it is good land.

    Get yourself to a shop or club once in a while, the app can't be accurate. Imagine if it said 11.7 and it was 17 ft lb, get caught by copper and you give the excuse you checked it with an app? Lol

    Bisley moly grease I used. If it been fooked about with , strip it, degrease it all, polish an replace worn parts, check power. Result lol

    Same applies with dog an wind etc working to your advantage then. As in field craft iv been shooting airguns since I was 8 , so got OK skills at ambushing and creeping up on stuff. Hopefully things will work out, an they see iv changed. Got a few bridges to cross regarding a record. So all might not be so bright lol Atb

    Ye, o have about 6 farms all 300-400 acres each. With good hill back stops. Iv spoken to farmers who dont want dogs or people with airguns. Last perm I tried was 4,000 acres, his brother doesn't like airguns and didn want us on. They had big rabbit problem, squirrel,pigeon etc...and he said that ajrguns ain't suitable for hunting...but we are more than welcome with shotguns,if we had them. This is not the only land owner iv had similar experience with. Round my way, there's loads of sheep farmers...u be lucky to see any crop lol so Mr ginger is around bold an brazen ..my one perm is having a r

    Am I taking the Piss applying for shotty and fac? Sercout posted vid on YouTube, says if u apply together its only 60 quid? Also, I'm into my airguns, so wouldnt mind a facair also. So I'm think shotty, .22 air, .17hmr as u can take fox with that can't you to certain distance. My main reason for getting my fac, is that iv been turned down permission and also asked by farmers to take care of fox. So am I asking to much to soon?

    U can't just expect first pellet u try to be accurate, and go buy some moly grease, take stock off an poke some grease through to the spring. Not a lot. Work it in with good amount of shots then add a touch more. Don't gunk it up with grease though. Mine shot smoother. Power increased by about 0.5ft lb though. The springs are dry from factory.

    Lol Ye, I haven't even got my fac or sgc yet an iv already got a shed load spent in my head, its a nightmare. It was the misses idea for fac etc too, so she can't complain. Any other ideas you think I should take into consideration feel free to pm me. Atm I'm like a spunge an take everything in. I'm completely new to all this ...I might not even be able to get feck all yet, but I can't see why not. Fingers crossed. Cheers

    Bought mine for the nipper, so he likes the tac stock, I too would of bought it in walnut if it was for me..
