    cheers lad some good replys..when people say they have a hard dog, are they just stupid and ( get smashed up ) ive seen my share..but a dog that kill is that a cleva dog ???? CWN-HELA

     

     

    wouldnt call the old bitch a hard dog she just has a knack of doing the bottom jaw she; never gets smashed up dont no how she does it never get to see it

    its funny kevin the same head on all the dog pups out of him he was one of the best dogs weve ever bred hope yours and paddys turn out just kike him atb with them

    personally i like a strong dog with a good head on them there not sounders but they do the job

    Looking at my pics and found a few pics from our last day of the season(Back in Jan 11)We started around 7.30am and checked a few of our dens at the base of the fell in a wooded area.A few were cleaned but nothing at home.We moved onto the fellside and despite the frost and large amounts of snow the bracken was dead but still high in areas(unusual for Jan)There were plenty of holes on the fell due to the amount of rabbits of yester year,but on any given year there may only be 4 or 5 spots opened up.But they all need checked.The dogs gave us a mark around midday,so we netted up and entered my black/tan bitch.Got a mark around 1.3 and got going.Simple enough and all was ended fairly quickly.The keeper was with us so everyone was happy.post-11831-0-73744500-1309464149_thumb.jpgpost-11831-0-80031500-1309464478_thumb.jpg

    imo the only time a young dog can fail is if it gets up to quarry gets bit comes out and wont go back for me thats the end for that dog but a dog that carnt get to its quarry but wants to because of size etc this is just a case of the dog needing to learn to dig on but as mud dog has ready said dont put a big dog in a tight place

     

    but anybody who says they have never bred or had a dog thats failed is talking bollocks can tell you know had my fair share

    the only time we breed is when we have to and they are normally just kept amongst the lads i dig with have given pups away in the past the deal being we get a pup back if it works and they line it or if they want to get rid of it it comes back to us but not any more as been let down a few times dogs sold etc

    its hard to know without all the facts like how many have you aready dug with him and when he came out did he want to go back if he didnt want to go back then from my experiences he will almost certainley do it again which is goodbye but if he wanted to go back but you just picked him up or stopped him then thats different seen this before a lyoung dog came out lad who owned him picked him up put older dog in and dug it the young dog was mad for going back in he got rid the dog worked on after it was just green at the time saying that yiu know your dog better than anyone so atb with him

    hi all just after a bit of help really would like to know how much a weihrauch hw 100 1.77 carbine with hawke nite-eye-3-9x50r scope 14shot with spare magnum quick fill adaptor 300 bar bottle and all the paper work for it its about six months old mint condition like new

     

     

    its ok know just seen one in the for sale section
