  1. they can make a huge difference to a shoot, pheasants love that type of cover, we got a few kale strips and what difference for holding your birds. I know a keeper who gets grants to put in stuff called bird crop it can last up to 3 years with loads of self seeding plants like linseed, rape, kale mustard etc the birds just want to be in these areas and good for wild broods too. kale is good as you can let the farmer graze it in feb to fatten lambs.

malt its sounds like your a Scottish labour msp, constantly attacking salmond and the snp, its not about salmond and the snp its about Scotland and its citizens the uk is the 4th most unequal country in the developed world there is poverty in parts of Glasgow that would make grown man cry and is not getting any better and this has been for 30 plus years long before any Scottish government, maybe the sg could make a difference to these people with all the powers of a normal country.

I don't like them mate, which other way am I supposed to come across? :hmm: I genuinely believe Salmond is a bigger danger to the sovereignty of the United Kingdom than Hitler ever was...

...and cities and large towns all over the UK and the rest of the world have areas like the ones you describe in Glasgow to a certain degree, you think they'll disappear if Scotland becomes independant? The quality of life and life expectancy in certain ex industrial areas of Wales are similar to the ones you describe, to give one example..

well if that is not motivation enough to change the status quo then what is? I believe Scotland are lucky to have the opportunity to vote on independence, the possibility's after yes vote are endless, a new simple tax system, a new benefits system, focus investment on these areas of most need choices the Scottish people could choose to make if we had full powers and control over our country.
..but you won't have though, the EU will.. Salmond's no different to the Scottish knight who handed William Wallace over to the English all those years ago for land and title, I forget his name now.. If he gets his way he wont be Alex Salmond, leader of an independent and free Scotland, he'll be nothing more than Alex Salmond: governor of Scotland, province of the United States of Europe.. You're being blinded to it by nationalism mate..

    hahahaaha very good

I read the study report and tomo the helis were used only for access purposes, I remember when this was on the news and am sure at the time it was being looked at but was ruled out, it does make me wonder though what rspb get up to as not so long ago in a sacs news letter they were funding a poison campaign for feral cats on a brittish island in the pacific ocean.

how do you target a feral cat only with poison?

@perthshirekeeper. no am not from blairgowrie.

So why did you write this shite if you hadn't a clue what you were talking about?

i don't think you realise how big the rat task was, I for one don't know many pesties with helicopter tickets and am sure when you are releasing poison from air to ground experience is key.

hahahaha I had to go back and read up its many years since the f***ing thing started

I pick up a box of bones and fat meaty off cuts full of sinews and any other bits and pieces that get chucked in when cutting a cow up, me dogs go crazy when they get a whiff of 21 day mature off cuts, the bones have various life spans the knuckle bones are probley cleaned up quickest depending how much ligaments and tendon on them

  9. enlighten you fir f**k sake mate, you've been raided for spouting shit you let a 6 month old terrier on mink then you have to ask on a open forum why they want kill each other a very sensible lad you must be, oh and the statement along the lines of ive prrobly shot more deer than most on here rings a bell :bye:

just put a house on there and place an advert in bulgarian meat eaters weekly, one family will eat the lot within 12 months and not cost a penny to employ

Lol, I think it's a bad thing when they needed to get guys from New Zealand to deal with the rats. You'd think there would be British pest controllers up to the task.
It wasn't like they stuck down a few bait boxes. There was a big ariel bait dropping and monitoring programme.

So what you saying, Britiish pest controllers couldn't cope with that? God help us.

  12. if you go to a local rainbow fishery theres always older gentlemen that are full of sound advice, a wee piece of advice for the novice is only buy catch and release permits until you have mastered catching fish. I wasted many a pound on buying tickets for taking fish and going hame wi f**k all. trial and error is how I learned
