Never knew that mate, I know I marvelled at him. He was feeding around "icebergs" flowing down the river, that shot was about 5 feet from me. You see these guys in ponds on parks rather than rivers but he held my respect that day I'll tell you.

I know that bridge, spent many a happy hour on the Spey chasing migratory fish to no avail! I know how you feel mate. I have whipped the water to a foam there many a time without as much as a hows your father. It's the spey bridge near Grantown. Yes its the 'new' bridge not too far from Oglesbys casting platform. I like the old bridge better myself, especially that deep hole under it... I have spent weeks on that stretch.... Yes, I know the bridge you mean mate. It's a lovely part of the world, Mortimers is a lovely if not expensive shop too.

That would be a good idea As i said to someone else on here, mega pixels aren't the be all end all when it comes to cameras, don't get took in with the sales gimmick.... all these photos took with a camera over 7 years old, with 6 million pixels. The pixels mean jack shit
