    As above I have to reluctantly sell my Ultra due to lack of funds to tune my R10. The gun is the 2011 model and was bought new from BSA at the start of the year, it also has the new 'self indexing' magazine. It is in mint condition bar a hole where I had to re situate the QD stud to fit a bipod, this can easily be filled. The scope is a Hawke Endurance 3-10x44 map8 reticle, also in mint condition.     Cheers for the advice, I've never had a problem before coming across this permission but then again everywhere is completely different. Never mind though hopefully just one minor (yet frustrating) glitch and after a few confidence boosting range sessions will be hitting it again with better results

    I dont post alot but as this concerns me I think i best For me personally field craft is something that I could definitely improve on, its not my strong point!!!     Alright lads, just a heads up I'm thinking of putting my ultra up for sale and thought I'd post here first to see if anyone is interested before I put it in the sales section. It's a ultra ms tactical with mtc viper 4-16x50 scope and bipod looking for around 400 for the lot. It's in mint condition and the scope was once bills on here.     Now then lads, just a quick one. I had a nice little win on the footy at the weekend so I am in the Market for a new scope to go on my ultra tac. My budget is £250 but would prefer not to blow the full lot. Quite interested in the mtc viper, mamba and mamba lite. Just looking for some pros and cons of each and your experiences good or bad with any of the mentioned scopes. Or then again should I be looking at something completely different??? It's a bloody minefield of scopes out there!! I'll be mainly using it for hunting and targets. Cheers in advance lads. Atb Adam

    Alright lads, the day out was top draw and met a very sound lad in millsy I've been struggling for a permission and millsy was kind enough to offer me a day out and hopefully a few more in the future Like he said the day was more about getting to know each other and the permission as well as a good plinking session. IMO the perm has alot of potential as there was alot of signs of rabbit activity including two rather large warrens. I'd just like to thank milllsy for trusting me and taking me out with him, I know first hand how hard it is to get a permission and to take someone along that

    Hopefully matey still in talks with one he's unsure because he let someone shoot there before but ignored his request to not shoot the pheasants. So you can see my problem he thinks all airgunners are the same although he's slowly coming round to it. The perms a golf course and only 10 mins from my house so this is the one I really want to tie down.

    I've got one of these new mags, it came on my new ultra today I havent had any experience with the old mags but hear they had indexing problems. I've put about 100 shots through the ultra today and its not skipped or failed to index once. I' put a pic up if i can work out how to do it from an iphone. Its got a bluey looking plastic inside instead of the alli one in the previous but haven't tried putting a pellet every other hole to see if it indexs to every pellet, that will have to be the next test.     Cheers Bill, I've got a 15m plinking range set up in the house so I supose I'm quite lucky to be able to havehat to keep me occupied with the new gun untill I can sort a permission out. Looking at a new scope but don't really know what to go with got a hawke at the minute but thats on the lightning but will be moving on to the ultra untill funds become available looking at the mamba and viper range from mtc? But don't want to ruin the ultras qualities by slinging a heavy scope on top if you know what I mean? ATB Adam

    Hi mate sorry to hear about this. I was almost done on the same site a while ago by a lad in Lincoln selling a R10. He insisted on me sending him the money and then wait for him to post. Something didn't seem right to me so I asked for his address and told him that I'd travel to do a face to face deal, he didn't seem keen and told me he would have to ring me back as he was at work but stated on his add his reason for selling up was that he had lost his job Anyway the little f R ignored me from then on so i couldn't give him a verbal abusing for trying to do me over. Lucky escape I guess

    Cheers lads, it's a mine of information this site like and as I'm always looking to learn more it's the perfect place. I can't wait to get my hands on my Ultra been waiting a while now some cock up with the order at BSA or so the RFD told me. Yeh insurance is deffinatly on the cards I get paid tuesday so it will be getting done then, I hear BASC is the best or better recognised? Or is this just falacy?     Good afternoon lads and lasses I come across this site a while ago but never got round to signing up, the information on this site is second to non I posted in the new member section but since this is my area of interest I thought that I would introduce myself here, hope you don't mind.
