    Hi guys, was wandering an easy and accurate way of measuring the height of sight above the bore, I'm using a ballistic data app now to dial in shots and its asking the height of sight above the bore. I used a standard ruler and placed it from the middle of the bore and measure up to the horizontal plane of the crosshairs is this accurate enough ? Any advice would be appreciated

    Hi guys, should you write to your feo if you have acquired a moderator? On my certificate it allows myself to have one...i've just received it and was wandering if i should write to them and let them know i have a moderator for one of my rifles now (as i would if i had bought a rifle)...? thanks

    I'm a shotgun and firearm certificate holder, and have 3 shotguns and a .308 rifle in my cabinet. My brother wants to apply for a shotgun certificate, will he be able to share the same 'storage facility' (as they have worded in the application) as me ? Advice would be appreciated

    I've recently bought my new rifle in .308 and need to get it screw cut to fit a moderator. What's the best moderator out for this calibre ? Any advice would be appreciated.

    Just bought my sako 85 in .308 and want to stick with one load and brand to really get comfortable shooting with...what brand, style and load of .308 ammo would you suggest I use for shots between 100 to 500 yards max on deer? any advice would be appreciated.

    the scope will be used for long range mountain hunting, shooting ibex and mouflon...would a x50 or x56 cope with this ?

    would the fact this can hold 4 make it need to be put onto fac could get into a whole load of shite otherwise All the old models are the same...it has a metal rod in the magazine to stop you putting in more than 3 cartridges, this is approved. However, small 2 and a half inch shells will just fit 4, only because its a slugster gun made to shoot slugs and longer & larger cartridges with heavy loads. its not a fac

    Hi guys, i'm currently in the process of filling out my FAC, and was wandering what is a good all round calibre for hunting in the UK, hunting will consist of deer stalking to fox and rabbit hunting. I want a calibre that will do the job for both... i was thinking of .270, any other suggestions? Thanks

    NO But you need f.A.C. For ANYTING BIGGER THAN AAA Nonsense, SG & SSG and some of the American sizes are legally available to SGC holders and both are bigger than AAA.
