  1. once again thanks for replys and help a greyhound vet was going to be MUCH more exspensive my own vet who i no very well has exsperiance with running dogs and nos what i do with my dogs but i no what your saying about a running dog vet its still an option cheers again
  2. cheers for reply mate the vet said it wasnt that bad and certainly worth a go so thats what ive done , this is first time this has happened to me and if it doesnt work out then if theres a next time (different dog) it will be pts
  3. thanks snoopdog, im considering a new lurcher pup my big dog fractured his hock last nite so i think its time for a pup for the future incase his injury doesnt heal like i hope. never had a saluki cross before thats why i was asking about these pups , seen a few run and have been impressed 75% off my lurcher work is now lamping usually in smallish sized fieilds perhaps these pups would be an ideal type
  4. hi marco im not really up on the breeding off coursing dogs but this does look a cracking litter. would these types be capable off retreiving hares in small fields or are they more for the big land
  5. hi all i went lamping last nite and my lurcher took a bad fall after being xrayed at vets they have told me he has a compound fracture on his haulk(spelling) i have told them to operate and il just have to give him time and see what happens . any advice would be appreciated especially from those who have came across such injurys. he is 3 years old 28" and 73 pounds 3/4 greyhound 1/4 bull .
  6. my collars arrived today from strong stuff really pleased excellent quality and service . would recommend them to anyone . the 1 and half " wide collar has a big loop which is ideal for putting lurcher slip through
