    oakes borders or really ray walkers borders are gone there is no such thing anymore ,no one can claim to have this strain today also the kcs were not worth a shit ,and levi did put lakeland in them he had border lakelands from me ,dont know why people still trying to live off his name he never actually done that much digging himself ,ray walker ,albert radcliffe and gordon grinley done most of the graft with these dogs .

    all the kc papers were false , ray never registed any borders with the kc I didn't want to come straight out with it and burst someone's bubbleATB Phil its better to know the truth ,theres one or two on here who think there carrying on were ray left off,the dogs from the original line would have frightened them to death ,they more interested in the name than the dogs.

    i disagree fionn no ones being disrespected,the thread makes a nice change on this section fair play to them lads with there imput. i for one have massive respect for ray walker and what he did with the borders ,but that line is gone .when he stopped keeping them was the end of it , levi carried on with some outcrosses ,i asked ray what he thought of them and he said he would not put his name to them .for me that says it all .jim carried on breeding pure borders for a while useing hes own outcross bitch and still got some workers ,but in the end he packed them up .if anyone being disrespect

    dont worry about giving out info, all the dogs in the ped i posted are long gone ,and would be washed out of any borders of today .you say you still have this line .that makes you one of the people claiming to have levis breeding .the original line was so inbred it would be impossible to be line breeding still,what you have is borders with some of this blood way back .i have loads of photos and peds given to me by levi and dont mind sharing info with anyone .

    jake and rosie gypsys sire and dam ben dover in reply to your pm, this is the working ped of rosies sire jimmy ,rosies mother sally was a john park lakeland ido not have the breeding of but i did get her from john himself ,the border side is very close bred ,the jake dog i used on rosie to breed your gypsy is almost identical bred to jimmy.
