  1. only thing to do is to try them all, ebay sells sample packs which could save you a few coins.....my old daystate loved h&n's too and i tryed alot of different pellets
  2. not using rechargables but will try a better brand,it use's cr123's 3 v which is a shame as i have 12 cr123's that are rechargeable but they are 3.6 v if any one can use these they can have them all for a fiver posted
  3. i have found a small flaw, tonight when out the wind had picked up and the chill factor was damed bad and the nd3 did not peform to well and immitted a lot less light but would still be great for the rats at close range! but winter rabbits i think will be a pain in the ass if temps are low
  4. just wish i could of retreved the film from it for youtube
  5. lol well you know when we set the cam up next to the target to get some clear fotage well i did just that, then i sat back for a cuppa and a fag, next thing i know i see a bunny hopping along so i grab the rifle and take aim, pulled the trigger and got a crckin head shot at 28 yards(my zero range)only to hear the strangest sound from hitting a bunny in the head??? yep you guessed it it was directly inline with the camera
  6. lol yer they can but it was a strange affect after you take your eye from the scope, you still had your night vision intact but you need to blink a couple of times to be able to focus...or it may just be me lol and how i missed a 3foot by 2 foot lump of concrete i will never know lol....fotage should be up with in a week, sooner if cam hurrys up!
  7. great stalk, must say im thinking about getting myself sorted for doin the same as i have a permission where i can take some roe.bet it felt great getting your first.
  8. well had a couple hours out tonight, but no fotage till new cam gets here, but i can say 99% of the bunnys did not run !!!! alot of them reared their heads but soon got back to what they were doing,it tock a bit of setting up to get the beam the same size as the view through the scope but it also helps a little with rangein in the dark, and i think with a little more practice this could indeed be a dam good buy, also poped to give it a go on a rat shoot and one or two of them did seem to react to the light but on the whole they were just like the bunnys,so maybe it was noise or movement from me th
  9. no ive tested it and its fine, its a very light unit...lucky for me lol but i will go and find some thing better to use.
  10. lol cheers guys, well its arrived, and i hit a small problem right of the bat...if like me you have a rapid and are using the standed mounts with a hawke panorama it wont fit onto the scope with its adjustable mount ! but ive over come this by fitting it to my moderator for now but i will look into a few different mounts and find something better so i can get it mounted onto the scope....which im not to keen on the mount it comes with as its not too good a hold as it does allow some movement laterally so even if it had fitted id of been getting rid of it,but apart from that it looks a nicely mad
  11. lol long story bout the cam...new one winging its way as i type......will do a video of what i think to it along with some hunting footage so ppl can see how it erforms and can make their own minds up!
  12. as most ppl seem to use chair gun(me included) and finding that alot of the info was a little out when it comes to real time shoting i thought id have a play with the hawke BCR program, well i have to say that at first i was not to keen but after going into the field and trying out what my aim points were on it im now very impressed with it,its been spot on right down to the last yard...... heres how it works out for my rectile http://www.youtube.com/user/theobenRapidHunting?feature=mhee
  13. well guys ive been looking at the nd3 but found the price a tad high, well that was before one popped onto ebay for £65 delivered and new in the box!!! well i snapped it up welll it arrives tomorrow so im looking forward to going out and seeing if it does what it claims? i will be doing a full review on my youtube of it but at the moment im having some technical problems.....i shot my camcorder but stay tuned
