when you go ferreting keep a live one back and let the dog have a course in the middle of a big field.once it get one there's no stopping it.

i had to get rid of my lurcher because he would fight with my jack when i pend them up.i think it was because they were both dog. i got a 2/3whippet 1/3bedy bitch know and they get on fine. terriers don't like to be in confined spaces with dog. -
its the owners at fault you can tech a dog to do what you wont if you put the time in. people cant admit that they failed .a dog is as good as you train it you don't need to train a lurcher to chase they will chase any thing that moves.as long as you have got that the rest is extra. people rush and don't put the time in.

99% of lurchers should be able catch rabbits naturally but the rest has to be tort.if your dog is shit its down to the owner. a bad worker blames there tolls.

i used to keep my jack Russel in side and he would shake constantly but when i got my 1/3 bedlington 2/3 whippet i built a kennel and put both out side and within 2 weeks he had stopped.

i run my dog on an empty stomach and give her a live out of one rabbit ever 4 or 5 rabbits as a reword.

i was told by the farm vet to feed my dog in the morning so if i go lampin the dog has an empty stomach as greyhound whippets and lurcher can twist there stomach as it is so much higher than the chest.
