    Haha,to be honest Tony i'd give up matey,Blue wasn't the 1st stud dog in the "type" at all,Nipper,Rip and Rag Lad came before him and to be perfectly honest they were around before you were born...they are lurchers mate,nothing less and nothing more,just like some carry the name Nuttall's,Hancock's,Plummer's and whatever else it is thats kicking around and some carry the Minshaw tag..it's no big deal at the end of the day is it? Enjoy what jukels you have and like i've said before the dog only has one person to please and thats the person who feeds,walks and looks after it.....in reply to Dodg

    So basically Minshaws are just collie/greys with a small ammount of bedlington? An you use the Name MINSHAW because Blue was your first stud dog?

    Look lads i was just asking serious questions. I find these Minshaw dogs interesting an would just like to find out exactly what blood is in these dogs. An am sure there is a few more members that would like to know also. .

    I certainly hope not Rock, all i asked was a genuine question on breeding, an get called a :wankerzo4:. Id have rather he said IM NOT TELLING YOU the breeding. That way my feelings would have been spared. .

He hasnt mentioned Tess"s breeding has he?? :wankerzo4: Bit harsh that isnt it? All i want to know Joe is the breeding of the dogs an im not talking dogs NAMES am talking ACTUAL breeding. If he doesnt want to tell me fair enough but i dont see the problem in asking whats the make up of somebodys dog?

One things for sure is there is a hell of alot of greyhound blood in these new minshaw pups thats why am questioning how much Minshaw blood is exactly in this dog in the thread? Is there a reason why some people seem to think Jack was bred from a pure Greyhound? So Bulpa was Blue to a full collie Bitch? So what way was Tess bred?

    Find it abit strange why none of my questions where answered. The strain your talkin about six pointer is very thin on the ground as ive said you would be lucky if there was a 1/4 minshaw in your pup an thats based on Jack being bred from a full grey. . Your pups Dam is a full Grey, an Ginny has a pup out the same litter so he also has a 1/4 bred minshaw dog. NOT A FULL MINSHAW. As ive said before the minshaw stuff is long gone imo, an although theres a couple of lads with so called minshaw dogs i wouldnt like to say how much minshaw is actually in them. .     Jack was bred Bulpa X Cora... Really?? How was Cora bred? Its just i see the title of this thread then i read its bred Jack to a pure grey, an theres rumours Jack was bred from a pure grey, if the rumours are right an Jack is bred out of a pure grey that would make him half Minshaw, then you put him back to another pure grey would that not make this pup a 3/4 grey 1/4 minshaw? It would make sense as ive said for a long time the so called Minshaw dogs of today look more an more like a greyhound. Anyway pup looks healthy good luck with him. .

    All terrain hes havin abit of difficulty working his computer, hes learnt how to read an hes pretty confident in gettin his dog back especially with you in his corner . Am sure he will clear it up with you. .

    :laugh: Is this the pike dog that s/g was running on for a mate of mine while he was on his holidays. The dog belongs to a lad called Tully from liverpool it had no connections whatsoever to s/g an it certainly was NOT bred by him. It will be with its rightfull owner by the end of the month I seen this dog grafting up untill 2 years old an didnt hear it yapp once ... ATB SHanded. .

    Not to sure about ticks normally just pinch as close an pluck normally does the trick. As for fleas a couple my ferrets where full of them a friend told me to hang a dogs flea collar in the hutchs an change all the beddin i can honestly say it worked a treat. .
