  1. to me its all about the chase, if i could have it my way the hare would be let go unharmed after being caught. just seeing the dog on its quarry is enough for me
  2. just a question for you guys. are all 1st crosses smooth coated? never had a straight saluki cross
  3. in my eyes saluki crosses do very well on rough terrain, there loose running style can cope where other crosses suffer.
  4. while working our patterdale to fox in a stack of hay bales some years ago, the dog and the fox got stuck as the gap narrowed. when we reached the pair the dog had ate all the foxes backend, never seen that before but i bet it as happened to others
