I'm not 1 for knocking any x be it terrier or lurcher...but I will knock the knob on the holding the lead...some folks have a natural ability to bring the best out in any dog...some can ruin the best of breeding...that's not an opinion that's a FACT.Another thing...age don't mean shit in this game...atb dc
My body would beg to differ on the age thing lol

I know what I would fancy on a day time deer and it wouldnt have bull in it. Pre 2004 of course
What species of deer are we talking about by the way? Red, sika, fallow, roe, cwd, muntys etc etc because iv never Hurd of a saluki taking anything bigger than a roe buck single handed to be honest but I stand to be corrected
A red stag take abit of pulling single but the rest not to hard hypothetically that is pre 2004

100 percent true that what you said I own both and both very well bred but one carnt do what the other one can horse for courses and that that's why you get different crosses to do a job you want them forA well bred saluki will never live with a well bred bull cross on bigger game.same as a well bred bull cross will never live with a well bred saluki on hares.
coursing dogs not a Saluki is it.

Dig myself a hole? I couldn't give two sh*ts what you think my freind iv seen enough dogs run to know I'd sooner run a bull x on them than a saluki x, like I said can a saluki greyhound pull 6 red Hinds single handed in the day time in one weekend? Doubt it, iv seen them take 1 swift kick off a munty to the face and watch it run away, let me guess iv only seen bad saluki crosses, iv nothing against the cross but to say there better than a good bull x on deer I think youvtalking abit wet
E very time you open your mouth you dig yourself a bigger hole . I posted about deer in my post not fox.
Okay big lad well the topic is originally about running saluki greyhounds on fox and if you think there better for that job than a bull greyhound then your a f*cking wet wipe yes it might pull one or two but lets see if it's still doing as good on the third or the next night or pulling them out of wholes etc etc saluki greyhounds might do the job just like the off collie greyhound does but there not bred for that job for a reason
ive forgot more about running pures on deer or any other stuff than youve even read about you certainly know nothing about salukis thats certain, you talk madam full stop.
I'm confused wether your being sarcastic or serious? I personally do beleive bull greys are better overall on deer and anything else other than hares personally, the deer that Salukis were bred to run 6000 years ago as you say, didn't weigh as much as your average muntjac, wouldn't even call them deer to be honest I'd like to see a saluki greyhound pull 6 red hinds in two days single handed like I know the average joe bull greyhound can doSalukis were bred for the last 6,000 years for running deer and bull x grey are better give your head a rattle.
LOL Your full of it I run pures not x,s bye the bye you stick to your bull whatever I know which I choose to run and what they can do ATB.

When my hounds can spell the name of the game they are running then I know they understand the Hunting Act and the exemptions in the mean while politicians decide amongst them selves and my vote is for a wet September so the grounds runnable on the 1st October horse or no horse

leader says she's prepared to allow a vote on fox huntingLONDON (AP) — Prime Minister Theresa May said Tuesday that she's prepared to allow a vote in Parliament on whether to lift Britain's ban on fox hunting — reigniting an issue that still raises passions more than a decade after the practice was outlawed.

Might be a good idea to have a dog watch section on here. For dogs lost missing or stolen plus a headsup section to inform lads in the shortest time possible areas that are being targeted and descriptions , car makes and registrations been seen or noted. in the concerned areas.

Come on lads and lasses this bitch is some ones pet and pride and joy. its been spayed also . Apparently a white van with ladders on top irish plates and down Gloucstershire way does not take much imagination does it , some one knows where it is . I dont agree with the Reward no questions asked for its return that will only encourage the thieving b*****ds to try it on as a source of income .and these tow rags dont need any encouragement. Its a distinctivelooking bitch so eyes and ears boys.

The only way to prevent it happening is for all dog lads the length and breadth to stick together ,any dog gets chored then its plastered every where if its to hard to sell. breed or even run them the attraction goes unless the thieving b*****ds are brain dead. Ears to the ground and eyes open .usually comes up with something make the thieves as uncomfortable as possible, ear tatoos like racing greys have to be a consideration chips are not visible to most folk unles you have a scanner. tt. but its easy enough to check the ears if offered something that doesnt have its history with it.

Poverty is a man made tool there is abundant wealth in the world the problem is Society for thousands of years have had the view that the strongest can accumulate all the wealth, they can take all the resources they desire and then call it politics which basically means the elite/educated f***ing over the less strong or the less educated.. You do what is within your means to do provide for your family help out others where you can , but basically for example if you cant provide for your family then why carry on breeding, around the world it appears to be a have today society and f**k tomorrow, credit is a way of life promoted by the haves to cut even more wealth from the have nots, suck it up and do what it takes like the old saying if your in a hole stop digging.
