a lot is down to personal choice,, i like berreta's myself but browning,miroku, along with beretta are probably the best you will get without going into very big money, you could pick a second hand gun up of the above makes for £650 ish upwards somthing like a berreta 686, if thats to expensive then look at lanber, winchester, webely, etc then you are looking around £300 upwards for a decent 2nd hand model, you need to decice on barrel length and fixed or muliti choke, decide your budget then get down to your shop (as many shops as posible) and get hold of as many guns as you can, all gun's

thanks for that MM i apreciate the advice and honest opinion, i was starting to think i wouldnt get a reply, the camera isnt exactly a professional type, but im hoping it will give me good enough shots for an amature like me,, as long as i can get a few good shot's whilst out mooching i'll be happy, do you think i would improve the pic's by using one of the site's where you can edit your pic's? and could you recomend one??. once again thanks for taking the time to reply atb daz

hello all, ive just got myself a half decent camera, a fuji HS10, im a complete novice so please dont get to technical. ive put a few photo's up that ive recently taken, i'm just wandering where i go from here to improve then. thanks all

the best tool for the job would be a lightforce,,blitz/stricker/lance,, you could have it fitted to the roof of the motor and use it hand held,,,, depends if you want to drill a hole in the roof??????? bit of advice get the variable it's worth the extra money

spot on dane,,,, ive heard it a few times of lads shooting 100m +,, thats just stupid, the little pill isnt upto it, i dont care what anyone say's... i find it a bit more of a challenge to be honest to get them within a decent range,,,, if you want anything over 60m then get the clibre for the job,,,,, .222 or 22.250

interesting that mate,,, it's somthing ive been pondering over, at the end of the day the hmr isnt the best calibre for fox but it will do a job,,, what ive found is if you shoot broadside then you need to place the shot without hitting the shoulder, i know this is the norm but ive had a couple now that have hit the shoulder and not dropped the fox stone dead,, but give it a very bad flesh wound, luckily ive managed to put another into these fox's to finish the job, but it's only a matter of time before they get away and suffer, so a change in tactics and head shot's may be the way forward...
