  1. same here. this time of year the jills have young on so i take out the hobs my mate used to call my hobs til he saw them in the field and no i havent had to dig but saying that i always carry a spade in the motor just incase. but yes get on and do it even if you only take 1 of so you can show the landowner that your on the job then you keep the land
  2. i agree i to have taken out many lads over the last couple of years and out of them all i think there is only one that i would happily agree to take at anytime and again i have never charged any of them. but to me its not just a sport to go out killing for me it puts food on the table so before i agree to take anyone out i give them a rabbit to skin and cut up infront of me to prove that they at least have to ability to prepare it for cooking and each of them as sat at my table to eat rabbit before we go out. but i have never been asked for insurance even when i used to ferret the rats at a
  3. i did it myself 19years ago got a job sold my dog but two years ago i found i had more than enough time so bought myself some more dogs and now back doin what i love so dont give up hope maybe one day you'll be back in the field
