Thanks guys but i don’t think i have put this over very well, what i need to know is not just what you use but the procedures you do it in such as do you turn the laser off before you clean if you are in the field if say you have rain drops on the lens shootingcharley I don't get rain on my laser, i put a 3" length of tube over the head which stops 99% of any rain, i still give it a wipe over after use and yes i turn the unit off.     Hi all went out last night for an hour all was going well had one fox then when I turned the laser on the site picture had lots of diagonal lines in it and made the picture unclear, I changed the batteries still the same so I think the laser is knackered, I am going to try my brother-in-laws on it tonight just to make sure, what a pane in the ass.Has anyone had this happen to them. The the laser is a Quantum Firer fly from Archer shootingcharley.

    I am looking for the small piece of weaver rail that fits into an upside down weaver mount to fit my IR on. I have a normal rail hare but it will not fit both ways ? How can i get round this or can i buy the piece i need. shootingcharley.

    Went over to see the guys at UK Gun Repairs to drop off my gun for a service. Their stocker Dennis showed me a cut away trap stock that they were making for a client. The walnut came from their own supply and has now been made to the clients measurements. The picture I took shows the stock having received sanding sealer and now ready for checkering before finally giving it a Best London hand oiling. This is for a Perazzi stock and will look fantastic when finished. Dennis tells me that these cut-away stocks can be made for just about any O/U
