  1. Good report mate, still beats being at work or sitting in the house, I'll be working my two kits for the first time this Sunday.
  2. They work well in the Summer months from the piers, when the shoals of mackeral are inshore. The seabed is usually littered with filleted mackeral carcuss, which send the edible crab, lobsters, velvets etc into a feeding frenzy.
  3. Cheers for some good information there lads, I think another Jill will deffinately be sort after in the very near future. I get the impression the ferret I've got now is itching to be worked now, I dont think it will be wise to work her now, but I just find it a little frustrating not to allow her to do what she's bred to do naturally. I'm living in the North East of England, Sunderland.
  4. How do all, After reading through loads of posts and learning some valuable information, I've got a few questions of my own. I've had a Jill albino now for a few weeks, I've worked it a couple of times, its bolted a few rabbits, but due to lack of experience I didn't manage to net them. Anyway, some of the most valuable information I've gathered, is the season for rabbiting, it makes perfect sense not to work it now, due to the young rabbits being easy prey etc, so whast do you lads do with the ferrets over the summer months to keep them in good healthy condition, I'm still very mu
